"I absolutely recommend this hotel as a base for anyone who wants to explore the beauty of Labuan Bajo. 1. The location is just excellent. It's just a short drive from the airport. The hotel offers complimentary airport transfer, which is very convenient for the guests as Labuan Bajo has no online cab hailing. It's also a short walk from the port where all the boats depart and arrive. 2. The view is unbeatable. 3. The buffet breakfast is really good. They have cook-to-order nasi goreng. The bread and pastries are delicious. They even offer fresh mixed juice prepared on the spot. 4. The service is topnotch. They give complimentary cake and cookies every evening. There are free beverages in the mini fridge. They even give free 15-minute foot massage for one person for each room. For improvement, I suggest the hotel provide a towel rack in the balcony or at least clothes line in the bathroom, as after the water activities, there's nowhere to hang our wet clothes."

"This place operates as both a hotel and a hostel, and we chose an individual room for added privacy. Social spaces like the rooftop bar and pool are great for meeting people and create a fun atmosphere. The room was clean, spacious, and nicely decorated. Overall, it offers excellent value for money. The only downside was a slightly unpleasant smell from the toilet’s drainage pipe, but aside from that, everything was close to perfect. At this price point, there’s really not much to complain about."

"One of the few resorts in Labuan Bajo that actually comes with its own beach. It was built in 2013, so while it’s not brand new it is only a little over a decade old.  We stayed two rooms for two nights — the whole experience felt relaxing and family-friendly. The resort appears well-maintained: according to recent listing info, it underwent renovations in 2023, which helps keep facilities and overall condition in good shape.  The beach area right in front of the resort is great for morning walks, kayaking, and even snorkeling. Honest feedback: though it’s a beautiful sheltered bay with clear water in the morning, there was unfortunately a noticeable amount of plastic trash along the shoreline. The natural setting is lovely — but the trash did dampen that much-anticipated beachfront vibe. A super helpful tip for future guests: on our last day we kayaked from Sylvia Resort across to a nearby beach area (near the private/restricted beach of a neighbouring property), and the water there — calm and coral-rich — felt like a small marine nursery. We spent about 40–45 minutes snorkeling there: that side-trip was definitely worth it. Overall, staff were helpful, the atmosphere peaceful (far from the busy town center), and the resort offered easy access to the jetty — very convenient for island-hopping tours. "The hotel has a nice environment and every employee is friendly and has a smile on their face. The room is also clean, the hygiene is very good, the view from the top floor is very good, and the location is convenient, right on the main street. It is convenient for shopping, eating, day trips and renting motorcycles. It is recommended to stay here."

"For 2 night in Komodo Lodge, I would say everything in a good condition. For location itself, the hotel can be access by walking distance about 3-5min. Other than that, when we have island tour on the next morning, our breakfast were packed with mineral water. During our stay, the water pipe was broken. Within 2-3 minutes, they send someone to fix it."

"Excellent hotel with outstanding service. The room was spacious, aesthetically pleasing, and offered a stunning sea view. The view was truly spectacular and breathtaking, especially during sunset—when the sky transforms from orange to red and then purple. We really enjoyed every moment. Breakfast was delicious—probably the best in Komodo. I particularly liked their serving concept: instead of a traditional buffet, it’s an à la carte menu combined with a small buffet. You simply choose from the menu and the dishes are cooked on demand, which makes the food noticeably fresher and tastier than standard buffet options. There are also many complimentary activities such as snorkeling and yoga, making the hotel perfect for both couples and families. We will definitely come back again."
