"The motel's location is a bit out of the city center, so a car is essential for getting around. You can park right in front of your room. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need, including pots and pans. The male owner was very responsible. On our first night, the AC wasn't blowing hot air, and we woke up freezing at around 5 AM. We talked to the owner the next day, and he explained that the thermostat was set too high, preventing the AC from kicking in. He then restarted the outdoor unit and got it working. He even proactively knocked on our door to check if it was working correctly and brought us a small space heater. The owner also provided a small map, showing us places to visit in the city and how to get there."

"On my New Zealand road trip, I stopped in Dunedin and wanted to explore the city center. This hotel's location was perfect for that, and the price was reasonable. The room was what you'd expect for the price. The parking was a bit expensive; I paid 25 NZD per night, so I'd recommend looking for alternatives. Breakfast was included, but they didn't even have fresh coffee. Still, there was bread, yogurt, and other things, so you could definitely fill up. Oh, and the room had a small balcony with a view, which was a pleasant surprise."

"The front desk staff were great, and the service was excellent. The room design was also nice, but there were three very large flies in the room. The shower design was poorly thought out, with no separation between the wet and dry areas, so the entire bathroom was soaked after a shower."

"Clean and tidy. The room had high ceilings which was very comfortable. The price was even cheaper than some motels. For this price, staying in a hotel of this caliber is truly amazing value for money. The only downside was that parking was quite inconvenient; if you want to park, you need to book early, but even then, you'll likely not get a spot as there are only about a dozen available."

"Really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were lovely, right from reception, housekeeping to porters. As we had been travelling for a couple of weeks, having a laundry in the hotel was a lovely bonus. "Street parking is free before 9 am, and nighttime parking is very convenient. There's a large slope, so dragging your suitcase up was a bit of a struggle. There are restrooms both upstairs and downstairs, which is great. The showers are on the first floor, unisex. The laundry room is from 9 am to 4 pm, which is a bit inconvenient; we checked in late, so I couldn't do laundry, and there's a charge. The facilities are generally quite complete. By the way, you need to bring your own slippers, shower gel, and shampoo. New Zealand doesn't provide toothbrushes, toothpaste, or slippers, so remember to bring your own. You need to remove the leaflets and bed linens yourself when you leave and throw them in the laundry room on the first floor. The overall environment and facilities are very friendly, and I would recommend it."

"It is located next to the beach, with a large park with amusement facilities to enjoy. There is also a convenience store and Asian supermarket nearby, which is very convenient. Although the hotel has a bar, if there is a place for cooking, it will definitely attract more people to book rooms."
