"This hotel offers good value for money, especially considering its Chinatown location. It was a bit tricky to find, but I eventually managed. It's located to the right when you're heading into Chinatown, down an alleyway next to an old lady selling bananas. Right at the entrance of the alley, there's a shop selling large ceramic items. The hotel room has a small kitchen, which is great for buying groceries and cooking. While the room isn't huge, it has all the essentials. I'd definitely book again if I need a place to stay."

"I could easily find a hotel with better value for money in Bangkok. Given the price of this hotel, the front desk staff were incredibly short-tempered. As new arrivals, we asked them a couple of times for directions because we weren't familiar with the area, and they immediately became impatient. A hotel's service should aim for the highest quality in both service and facilities, yet they completely overlooked this crucial aspect."

"I absolutely enjoyed the stay so much I wanted to extend my trip because of this hotel! The service was top notch, similar to the experience I had at a luxury hotel in Singapore! The receptionist accompanies you to the room, pointing out the different facilities and where you are able to find everything! This hotel is also the tallest in Chinatown, so the sunset view is gorgeous at the very top, where there is a 360 panoramic view in a revolving restaurant and bar. However, I enjoyed the 17th level bar even more, as they have a nostalgia set when I was there, costing only 450 baht for soup, salad, pizza and 2 pints of beer! P.S Colouring my hair (roots) was 800baht at the salon downstairs, look for TangMo! She did a wonderful job and even threw in hair treatment at this price! Lots of food nearby, with 7-11 across the street. The markets are open both day and night, so no matter what time you wake, you are able to shop and eat just a street away."

"When we booked this particular hotel I made the mistake of wanting a hotel near the old train station, instead of the central terminal. We had a train to catch to Hua Hin the next day. Nonetheless, for the 1 night we stayed it was a fantastic hotel and we saw many tourist attractions. Our room was newly renovated and beautifully appointed with plenty of furnishings. I particularily loved all the tables and space in our room. And even though the hotel was under construction/renovations, the management gave us plenty of notice about the noise. We really appreciated this from hotel management. And I'm sure when their construction is finished, this hotel will look amazing. Well, it's already a fantastic hotel. One concern some travellers might have is the location of this hotel. It's located on and surrounded mostly by pedestrian alleyways. It's great if you're a city walker or a hiker but might be a bit of an inconvenience if you have a car. Also, the area is outstanding with plenty to see and tons of venues for night life, bars and restaurants. It's a big tourist area and can get busy but if the bar and party scene is your fun and playground, then this riverside Chinatown area will not disappoint. Highly recommend this accommodation but it would be best to book and stay here once their renovations are completed."

"This was my first time staying in a hotel near Bangkok's Chinatown. I spotted this place, which offered great value for money, and booked two nights for a weekend getaway. Upon arrival, I found out there's no physical front desk. You have to scan an official account to check in remotely with the owner, and only then do you receive the access code and room number. It was certainly a novel check-in experience for me! The room itself isn't huge, but it's well-designed and aesthetically pleasing. The bathroom is shared with other guests on the same floor. However, since there are only a few rooms (just two on my floor), there was never a rush or queue for the bathroom, even during peak times. Since the access is via a keypad lock, there's no risk of losing a key card or needing one for electricity. The only minor drawback is that if you don't take a screenshot, it's easy to forget the code and might take a few tries to remember it."

"The hostel's location is pretty good, about a 5-minute walk from Chinatown and 5-10 minutes from the subway station. The private single room was small but clean, and bathrooms/showers are shared. There are 3 rooms on the floor I stayed on, and I was in the middle one. There's no soundproofing, and my neighbor talked loudly on the phone for two hours straight at night. After she finished, she started snoring non-stop. Plus, there was a loud opera happening downstairs. It was genuinely too noisy, but it was cheap, so I put up with it."

"Firstly we were given a room with no window so I complained as the description in picture on Trip clearly showed a room with a window ( I admit I failed to note te wording lower down ) I stated that I would never book a room without a window as it’s a legal requirement in my country. They upgraded us free of charge to a premier room for the first night t we managed to clear it but gosh it was bad when you needed to visit the bathroom. as only room available which was great. The second night we had to move to the same type of booked room but one that did have a window which I am afraid was ok but this area of the hotel seemed to suffer with a smell problem from the toilet system, luckily with the window open and bathroom door firmly shut we managed to clear it with window open and bathroom door firmly shut but gosh it was bad when you needed to go into the bathroom."

"My stay at Collection O Dinso Home Boutique was decent overall. Looking at the ratings, the hotel scored well in cleanliness and facilities; the room was tidy, and basic amenities were sufficient for a comfortable stay. However, while the hotel's ambiance and service are currently good, there's still room for improvement, especially in service details and creating a better overall atmosphere. I hope for an even better experience in the future. As a solo traveler, the value for money here was acceptable, making it suitable for guests who have basic accommodation needs and prefer simplicity and convenience. I hope the hotel optimizes its service further in the future to provide a more thoughtful guest experience."

"An all-in-one hotel with it's own cafe (ground floor, check-in) and a restaurant (the Ros Krung Esarn Thai Cafe). It's on an alley with the popular Jay Fai and Thipsamai padthai restaurants) as it's immediate neighbour. What could be better than that when it comes to good food! The room is minimalist in design - sufficient. Comfortable, cozy bed. Traffic noise is a bit loud in the early evenings but bearable later at night. There's no view from my room's window though - just sides & backs of old buildings. Just have to close the blinds. I like the downstairs cafe... Comfortable, with a self-service counter for guests - all-day beverages and with bread / toasts in the mornings. It has a well kept al fresco area too with views of old Bangkok, but got to bear with the occasional stench from the river, not too bad. It's about 15 minutes walk from the nearest MRT station, Sam Yot. Can take a tuk-tuk as it's quite a walk if dragging heavy luggage."

"The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, right next to IconSiam. I emailed them beforehand to mention it was my birthday, and they not only arranged for a non-corner room but also surprised me with a cake! The front desk staff even upgraded us to two rooms and were incredibly friendly. They don't discriminate against Chinese guests, and the pool wasn't dirty at all."

Amazing
GGuest UserI stayed here again after a year and it's still a great experience. The staff are all very friendly and polite. I booked a suite but found that some floors' suites didn't have a washing machine. I asked if I could switch to a room with one, and the front desk immediately agreed! The room was clean, tidy, and had no strange odors; it was spotless. Breakfast on Saturday and Sunday until 11 AM is a huge plus... They have hot waffles, which my kids loved! There's also a food court under the MRT station right by the entrance... very convenient for getting around!

AAnonymous UserMy overall experience at this hotel was excellent. The check-in process was quick and efficient, handled by friendly front desk staff who provided great service. The room was clean and comfortable with a well-designed layout. The bed was soft and provided a good night's sleep, and the bathroom was spotless and bright with a full set of amenities. The overall environment was very relaxing. All in-room facilities, including the air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and TV, worked perfectly, and I encountered no issues during my stay. The hotel's public facilities were also very well-maintained. Whether it was the restaurant, gym, or lounge areas, you could tell they put a lot of effort into their operations. The breakfast offered a wide variety of fresh food, catering to different guests' needs. Moreover, the hotel boasts a convenient location, close to transport links and commercial areas, making it ideal for sightseeing, shopping, or business trips. All in all, this stay left me with a wonderful impression. Not only was the accommodation comfortable, but the staff were also professional and enthusiastic, making for a very pleasant experience. If I have the chance to visit this area again in the future, I would definitely choose this hotel again and recommend it to my friends and family.

코코군This was my first trip to Thailand. I wasn't sure where to book a hotel, so I searched on Trip.com for a good deal and found the Ramkhamhaeng Hotel, located in Ramkhamhaeng, which is about halfway between the airport and the city center. At first, I worried it might be inconvenient since it's a bit far from the train station and major tourist attractions. However, once I got used to Bangkok, the distance didn't feel like a big issue. Still, if you prefer a hotel closer to the station or in the city center, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. As for the hotel itself, it was excellent. The pool on the 31st floor was great for a night swim, and having a 7-Eleven on the first floor was very convenient for any urgent needs. I stayed for three nights and was very satisfied with the facilities; I had no inconveniences. If I visit Bangkok again in the future, I would definitely consider staying here again.

DdjkhcThe facilities were kept clean, and the reception and cleaning staff were very kind! There were three shower rooms and three toilets each for women, and they were cleaned frequently. The shower rooms had shampoo and body soap. There was also one hairdryer in the vanity area. The room had a locker large enough to fit a carry-on size bag, and another locker at the head of the bed for valuables, both of which could be locked, which was reassuring. I brought a converter from Japan for the outlets, but it wasn't necessary. There were two outlets by the bed, so it wasn't inconvenient at all. The laundry room was on the 3rd floor, and I could hang my washed clothes there to dry. Since it's a well-ventilated indoor space, my laundry wouldn't get wet even during a squall. The fish market is nearby, so I noticed a slight fishy smell until I got to the hostel, but overall, it was a very satisfying stay! I'm glad I chose to stay here!

AAlexTannThis hotel was the last stop on our trip to Thailand. Compared to The Nai Harn, it felt grander and more business-oriented, which was evident from the breakfast spread – definitely geared more towards business travelers. We stayed on the executive floor, though it wasn't an executive room itself... which I found a bit odd. The hotel's decor has a retro, old-fashioned vibe, making it feel less like a holiday retreat for me personally. However, these weren't major issues. The staff's service attitude was consistently excellent. The main pool was quite busy, possibly because two youth football teams were staying there, so there were lots of people playing and having fun. It was still a good experience overall.

TTobychowchowThis was my first time staying at a riverside hotel. After 5 nights in the city center, we moved here for two nights. The website mentioned a shuttle boat service from the pier near the subway station to the hotel. However, there were no signs at the pier indicating where to catch the hotel's shuttle. There was just a big guy sitting there, so I took a chance and asked him. He told us to just wait there, and a boat would come every half hour. After waiting for nearly 40 minutes, a hotel staff member approached us to say there was no boat and drove us to the hotel instead. Apparently, there's a two-hour lunch break in the middle of the day when no boats operate. This information should have been clearly stated on the website. Having to wait in such hot weather, just the experience of getting to the hotel was already quite frustrating. Fortunately, after checking in and getting to our room, the impression was quite good. The room was spacious, clean, and tidy, with river and pool views, which immediately lifted my spirits. We had breakfast at the hotel both mornings, and it was alright. On checkout day, there was a boat available, shuttling us back to the subway station pier. At least we got to cruise along the Chao Phraya River, concluding our trip to Thailand.

GGuest UserAddressed to Jon Warmington, the General Manager I recently stayed at Grand Mercure Bangkok Atrium room 842 from 27 May to 1 June and would like to share some feedback regarding my experience. First and foremost, I would like to emphasize that I genuinely enjoyed my stay. The hotel, facilities, and the majority of the team members provided excellent service, and overall I had a pleasant experience. In fact, I am not the type of guest who frequently raises complaints. During my travels, I spend very little time in my hotel room. Most of my day is spent outside the property, and my interaction with the hotel is generally limited to breakfast and sleeping. As such, it takes a significant issue for me to feel compelled to formally raise a concern. The first issue relates to breakfast. During my stay, I invited a Muslim friend to join me for breakfast. He entered the restaurant with me but did not consume any food because he was unable to find suitable options that met his dietary requirements. While I acknowledge that I did not raise this directly with the restaurant team at the time, I was surprised when Reception later informed me that they had verified that my friend had taken breakfast. From my perspective, entering the restaurant should not automatically be considered as consuming breakfast when no food was actually taken. Nevertheless, I have decided to let this matter rest and move on. The second issue is far more serious and is the primary reason for this email. On my final night at the hotel, I was expecting a visitor. However, Reception did not contact me to verify whether I was expecting anyone before allowing my visitor access to the guest floors. Instead, my visitor was simply directed to my room and arrived at my door unannounced. Having worked within the Accor group for approximately 15 years as a Duty Manager in Singapore, I am very familiar with hotel operational procedures, guest privacy standards, and security protocols. It has always been my understanding that when a visitor arrives for an in-house guest, Reception should first contact the guest to obtain authorization before granting access to the room floors. While my visitor was indeed expected on this occasion, Reception had no way of knowing that without contacting me first. Had the visitor not been known to me, this could have resulted in a serious security and privacy issue. In my professional opinion, allowing a visitor direct access to a guest room without prior verification is unacceptable and falls short of the standards expected from an Accor property. What further disappointed me was the handling of the matter after I raised my concern. I wish to be clear that I am not seeking compensation of any kind. My concern is not financial. Rather, I expect an appropriate resolution and acknowledgement of the seriousness of the issue. Simply being told ”sorry” was not sufficient given the nature of the security lapse. The alternatives presented to me by the Night Manager were also, in my view, unreasonable. One option was for me to move to another room on my final night. Considering that I was due to check out the following morning, I found this solution impractical and disruptive. Being asked to pack my belongings and relocate because of an issue that was not caused by me did not seem to be an appropriate resolution. I was also informed that a Reception Manager would speak with me. However, I was unable to wait indefinitely for the manager's arrival. As a guest who was raising a legitimate concern, I do not believe I should have been expected to delay my evening plans or remain available for an uncertain period of time. Furthermore, I was scheduled to leave the hotel at 7:00 AM the next morning in order to arrive at the airport early for my flight. For these reasons, I felt that the issue was not properly addressed during my stay, which is why I am bringing it directly to your attention. I am raising this matter not only as a guest but also

SSmallduckThe hotel is located in the city center, but quite deep within an alley, though they do offer a shuttle service. The staff provided excellent service; everyone was friendly, smiling, and attentive. The room was clean, and the hotel itself is relatively new. The room layout was good, and it was fully equipped. Personally, I really liked it. There's also a cafe downstairs with good coffee. If I have the chance, I'll definitely stay here again. We checked in late, and the hotel upgraded our room. The room had a microwave, a coffee machine, and all the dishes and utensils you could need. One night wasn't enough; next time I'll stay for two nights. If you're hesitant, I highly recommend it; I personally think it's great.

AAnasdanWe stayed at this hotel for two nights. Cons The rooms are very outdated. Furniture, walls, corners, and the bathroom show visible wear and damage. The rooms clearly need renovation. The photos on the listing do not reflect the current condition of the rooms. They look much newer than they actually are. A stove was listed as an amenity, but in reality it was not usable — it was covered with a fixed wooden panel and could not be opened. There is no tea or coffee in the room, despite a coffee machine being shown in the photos. Tea is available at the reception during daytime only. The air conditioner is very noisy. It is controlled via a wall panel (no remote control) with limited settings, and even on the lowest mode the noise is noticeable. There is no ventilation fan in the bathroom, so steam stays in the room after showering unless the door is opened. The TV offers only Thai channels. There is no Smart TV and no option to connect a phone. The kitchen area has a sink, cabinets, and basic dishes, but it is not functional due to the lack of a stove. Despite cleaning, the room looks visually worn because of the overall condition of the walls and ceiling. Pros The bed is comfortable, with two pillows per person. Clean bed linen. The bathroom was clean, with good water pressure. The room includes a new hairdryer, a refrigerator, dishes, and cutlery. There is a balcony facing the courtyard, where smoking is allowed. The staff were polite and helpful. The receptionist spoke good English and explained everything clearly, and the housekeeping staff were also very friendly. The hotel provides a golf cart shuttle to nearby shopping malls. The location is convenient, close to M-Sphere, Emporium, and the M District, which was the main reason we chose this hotel. Overall Suitable for a short stay of one night. The main drawback is the outdated rooms and mismatch with the photos. The location and staff are the hotel’s strongest points.
