Hantian | Yunkaxueyu • Snow Mountain Panorama Hotel (Lijiang Gucheng Heilongtan)

My stay this time truly exceeded all expectations! The hotel boasts a very convenient location, not far from the Old Town. The room was spotlessly clean, with soft and comfortable bedding, ensuring I had a wonderfully sound sleep all night. The soundproofing was excellent, so I wasn't disturbed by any outside noise at all. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and friendly; check-in was quick, and they even proactively recommended local eateries. All their suggestions were delicious, especially the wild mushroom hotpot! I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to the area.

The hotel is very clean, and the service was excellent. It's really good value for money, and I genuinely recommend it. There are a few parking spots right outside the entrance, and a convenient parking lot nearby. You can also enjoy a beautiful view from the rooftop. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't great today, so we didn't get to see much of the scenery. Although coffee is typically served during afternoon tea, the hotel kindly prepared it for us early in the morning because we had an early flight. They also provided flower pastries, which were delicious! 😋

The room was excellent – very spacious and incredibly quiet at night. It was also super convenient with dining options right downstairs. The rooftop garden offered direct, unobstructed views of the snow-capped mountains. Overall, this guesthouse provides fantastic value for money.

The rooms are all newly renovated and equipped with smart controls; the curtains even close automatically with a simple voice command. The large, single-pane windows offer incredibly comfortable views. My absolute favorite feature was the rooftop viewing deck, offering panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. Upstairs, there was also a coffee machine and comfortable lounge chairs, making it incredibly relaxing to sit there. The owner was also incredibly kind, providing warm and attentive service. We stayed for two nights, and when we checked out, it was raining, so the owner thoughtfully provided us with umbrellas to take with us. Among all the places we stayed during our Yunnan trip, this owner was, in my opinion, the best. It's rare for me to write such a detailed review; for other hotels, I usually just leave a standard rating.

The host is incredibly friendly. The location is wonderfully quiet, set back from the main street, ensuring a deep, undisturbed sleep. The surroundings are peaceful, yet dining options are super convenient. The room facilities show great attention to detail, including thoughtful touches like disposable toilet seat covers. The branded showers offer a wonderfully soft water flow, making for an extremely comfortable experience. The room itself is very spacious with an excellent view, and there are convenient eateries right downstairs. The latex pillows ensure a super comfortable night's rest! The host even treated us to complimentary rose pastries. I noticed many guests were so comfortable here that they extended their stays, which speaks volumes about the place.

The guesthouse is very easy to locate and not situated on a busy or congested road. It's incredibly convenient for accessing the Old Town and the 101 special bus route. The host was incredibly friendly. We were welcomed with complimentary flower cakes right upon check-in. We were traveling with our child and realized we were short a pair of slippers; they immediately brought us a new one without hesitation. The room itself was very spacious and comfortable. The bathroom featured a convenient wet/dry separation. Plus, the rose-scented shower gel and Lafang shampoo smelled lovely and worked wonderfully. Upstairs, guests have access to laundry facilities for washing, drying, and hanging clothes. There's also a large observation deck with ample seating, perfect for enjoying a drink, admiring the scenic views, and feeling the refreshing breeze – truly a delightful experience. The price was incredibly reasonable, especially considering that accommodations within the Old Town are often expensive and less convenient to navigate. I wholeheartedly recommend this place; it truly offered the best value-for-money among all the guesthouses I've stayed at in Yunnan.
