Heel erg gehorig en hele nacht wakker gelegen. Toen we vroegen om een andere kamer gaven ze aan nog een kamer vrij te hebben maar ze ons hier niet heen konden verplaatsen en dat wanneer we overlast hadden we zelf bij de mensen op de deur moesten kloppen.

Wonderful! Beautiful place, exquisit and various breakfast and really nice welcoming. I went with my boyfriend for one week end and we visited Maastricht that is only 30 mins in transports from the hotel. The diner was really good also and had a lot of choice. Love it!!!

My experience may only have been due to unfortunate circumstances but, the alarms went off for 20mins (around 8pm), I got woken up at 6.30am because walls are like paper, doors are not sealed and rooms are next to stairwell. I arrived at breakfast to find no staff and a coffee machine that looks like it’s in a area for public use… but is labelled differently. Also, for drivers… beware of the huge speed bump on the entrance to the road!

No parking available, parked at a public parking down the street. Reception said that was safe. Car was broken into that same night. Staff was apathetic at best. The door to the balcony is duct-taped and screwed shut. Room had no access to balcony but neighboring rooms do. When other guests speak, they are audible very clearly. Beds were worn out. No on-site staff after 10pm. An emergency number is provided but with the additional information that no staff will come to the hotel after 10pm. Boiled egg at breakfast was undercooked, scrambled eggs were overcooked. Awful experience, we checked out sooner than planned.

When you book you get a picture with a river and a balcony when you get there you are placed in an Achnebies street with train traffic and little parking space I think this is a waste of my money

Location is OK, although it is still a bit of a walk to the heart of Valkenburg. But it can be done. Rooms were disappointing, very small and cramped. No air conditioning, which is a loss for a hotel chain like Fletcher. Mirrors in the room are very high for people who are smaller. Breakfast was nothing special but just good. Noisy by staff who were pushing chairs and tables while people are eating. Valkenburg itself is definitely worth a visit, especially when the weather is nice.
