Our host (mgr) was wonderful, had great suggestions for touring the area and his dinner suggestion for Bavarian food was spot on .
The town was wonderful and we would have stayed an extra day, if the hotel was not fully booked.
Do not hesitate to stay here. A nice little 14 minute walk to the island town.
We will return!

Wonderful facility, easy walk to town. 💯 % recommend this place to stay. Host points you to all the good restaurants 👍 Walk to town is about 15 minutes with lovely views along the way. Lindau is full of old world charm.

The hotel is very well situated for walking across the bridge to the old town. We found it great value and was exactly what we required. It was a little noisy at night, being close to the railway line, but this wasn't an issue for us.
When checking in, the gentleman at reception was extremely friendly and helpful - a great introduction to Lindau!

The rooms are equipped with everything you need. Perfect for a short break. Generally a very cozy a**osphere. The street next door is almost inaudible and it is very quiet, despite the train line running next door.

If you want to spend 2 or 3 days on Lindau Island, the hotel is very good: 1 minute from the Lake Constance promenade, 10 minutes (or less) on foot to the Lindau Island center, free parking in front of the hotel, ground floor room with huge bathroom and terrace! Hotel staff and manager super nice, breakfast is definitely good but we preferred to have breakfast on the island, the hotel is next to the railway line but if you walk a lot during the day and then sleep deeply, you hardly hear the few trains! Conclusion: price/performance ratio is really good. There is no reason to book on the island --＞ recommended! We will be back!

Great location in Lindau, Ms Wegmann at the reception is super nice and accommodating with good advice, good deeds and good tips.
