"As a female-solo traveller and non-chinese speaker. I booked the cheapest room available because I travel alone. At first, I thought the price was high, but after I arrived it turned out to be very good value. The room is spacious and the service is wonderful. I arrived around 1:30 PM and was able to check in early. I also received 100 yuan in food vouchers (usable at select eateries), which was a nice bonus. When you book here you don’t need to buy an entrance ticket. There’s also a free shuttle both way from the ticket area to the hotel, so you don’t have to walk far with luggage—especially since the hotel sits on a hill. The staff can help carry bags to your room, which was very helpful. Additionally, guests can opt for a free Chinese dress customization, a unique and memorable touch during your stay but look like you need to use it before 5 PM. The light will turn on around 7 PM, so you can still enjoy both. The wifi/signal can be spotty in some areas. Day and night is totally different feeling. I recommend starting walking around around 5 PM onwards. If arrive early just take a rest in the hotel room first or do the dress as it takes time. A tip: If you need to call a Didi, inform the hotel first so they can drop you off at an area where Didi can pick you up. Try not to call didi before you are in that spot. Overall, great value, friendly staff, and convenient extras made this a very good stay."

I booked a river view room and the hotel upgraded the room type for free. The area is large and very quiet. In short, the hygiene is impeccable and it is really clean. I didn’t even use the disposable quilt I brought with me. The waiter came on call and I could store my luggage when I checked out, which is very good! At Shangrao International Hotel, I felt the perfect combination of high-quality service and comfortable environment. I sincerely recommend local friends to stay at Shangrao International Hotel to experience five-star service, thoughtful service, and complete surrounding supporting facilities, including shopping, dining, and entertainment. The facilities in the room are great, including air conditioning, a small refrigerator, a water heater, etc. It also provides us with a screen projection video function. The hotel is located in the city center, the room is very good, the facilities are complete, the staff has high service quality, meticulous attitude, enthusiasm and vitality, and I will definitely come again next time if I have the chance! !"

"As a group of six with three children, the front desk was incredibly thoughtful, upgrading one of our rooms to a spacious suite that felt like two rooms combined, giving us plenty of space to relax and move around. The hotel is nestled within a beautiful Huizhou-style landscaped garden. The scenery is stunning, and it's wonderfully peaceful, filled with the gentle sounds of birds chirping and insects buzzing. Each room also came with a complimentary intangible cultural heritage handicraft activity, hosted in a charming glass house by the pool, offering plenty of choices for the kids. The basement features a gym and a travel photography studio. Upon check-in, we received a free costume change and photo session. If you opt for professional makeup and styling, it's 100 (for children) and 160 (for adults). You can easily take hundreds of amazing photos within the picturesque hotel grounds. Hotel service was exceptionally proactive and thoughtful. After checking in, we added our dedicated butler on WeChat, and their responses were always very prompt. In the evenings, there's even beer and BBQ available, so there's always something enjoyable to do, and you'll never get bored during your stay. The only minor downside was that the in-room TV didn't allow us to log in with our own accounts to stream movies or cartoons, which meant the kids occasionally got a bit restless in the room."

"We spent a wonderful couple’s weekend here and honestly, it exceeded our expectations. Our room was spotless and came with a breathtaking view. Be prepared to do a fair amount of walking up and down (your legs will definitely notice it), but every step is rewarded with incredible scenery. In the morning, the place feels almost like a private paradise, with very few people around and a calm, magical atmosphere. By the evening, things get busier — the crowds arrive, but so do the lanterns, lights, and reflections that turn the valley into something out of a fairytale. There’s also a small pool, perfect for relaxing after exploring, and a gym open from 9am to 9pm. Training there in the evening, surrounded by the glow of lanterns, adds a surprisingly magical touch to a workout. All in all, it’s the kind of place that makes you both tired and happy at the same time — the best kind of travel memory. Highly recommended for couples who want a mix of romance, nature, and a little adventure."

"It's a nice hotel with a nice big balcony and nice rooms. Breakfast tasted great too. Let's start with the shortcomings. The breakfast environment can be improved. For example, the tables and chairs are changed to double tables instead of round countertops, and the lighting is dim. I forgot my room card at the dining table, and the front desk asked me to go back and get it myself. If I didn't have it, I would be fined. (The result was delivered after I called the restaurant at my request) The front desk's request was reasonable. After all, it was the guest's own problem. But such a cold reply shows that humans are worthless, and robots can be used to replace humans."
