My son and I were interrailling and stayed here at the start of our travels for 2 nights. The hotel has changed hands and is now a becozy self check in. The downstairs lounge has comfy sofas, somewhere to eat your own food and a microwave to heat your food in. It's funky, i like it.... there's no bar anymore and no restaurant but it feels relaxed and you can come and go. The rooms were warm at night but there was a fine and it did the trick. On the return leg of the interrail we booked again as we wanted to swim in the lake. There is a fantastic protected building (baden?) 100 years old that has recently been renovated and you can swim from there, showers, changing rooms, diving boards. At the moment it's free but a possible charge next year There's a market on Saturday in the town. The piped music in the hotel gives it a slight "tales of the unexpected" vibe but o really like it and I'd come again. It's weirdly cool.

This is a self check in hotel. Codes came via email and I had no trouble getting into hotel or my room. The room was clean and the water was hot. Bedding and towels were fine. My tip would be not to have a lake view room because the trains are very noisy on that side of the hotel. I think you can order breakfast from the nearby bakery but as I have family living locally I did not do this. As we are taking Swiss prices this is very good value.

It was a basic room to spend the night. The bed is ok. Bath and toilet was clean. The hotel is just behind the train station and rails so can be pretty noisy, specially when you want to open the windows.

komplett unbemanntes Hotel. Ich hatte vorab keine e-mail erhalten um mich zu registrieren und somit auch keinen Eingangscode, keine Zimmernummer und Eintrittscode. der QR-Code gab keine nützlichen Hinweise diesbezüglich. Der Chat leitete mich zu einer Computer-Bubble, keine Hilfe. eine Dame rief mich an, konnte mir nicht weiterhelfen, verständigte ihren Chef. Der kontaktierte mich, verwies mich auf den Chat und wünschte mir ein schönes WE!
Endlich rief mich eine nur englischsprechende Dame an, die mir die fehlende e-mail für die Registrierung zuschickte. Das ganze dauerte 2 Stunden, bis ich in meinem Zimmer war!
Das Zimer war für meine Zwecke ausreichend, schöne Sicht auf den See. Zugverkehr durch die Lage beim Bahnhof war absehbar, für mich kein Problem.
Ein Hotel ohne auch nur eine Person Personal ist ohne Seele. Gespensterhaus. Keiner, der guten Morgen sagt, kein Lächeln oder Hilfe bei Fragen. Wenn man alleine unterwegs und neu an einem Ort ist fehlt da etwas.
