I am sharing my recent experience at the Tolip North Coast Hotel, which was unfortunately marred by numerous shortcomings. Despite its 5-star label on ***********, the hotel failed to deliver on several fronts, leading to a highly disappointing stay. Upon our arrival, we were greeted with a suite in a deplorable state. Not only was the fridge non-functional, but the bedside lamp cord was also broken, the couch was damaged, and the air conditioning failed to function properly on the first night. Promised amenities like bathrobes, slippers, and toiletries, as stated on ***********, were conspicuously missing. Adding to the discomfort, we noticed visible rust in the bathroom and balcony areas, and the overall cleanliness level was severely lacking. In particular, the bathroom was not maintained to an acceptable standard, and a plate of food was left unattended in the hall for over 24 hours. Regrettably, a large chunk of our vacation time was spent making daily complaints to the staff. We were offered an alternative room on the second day, but it too was plagued with similar issues, pointing to a broader problem with the hotel’s upkeep. Beyond room-specific concerns, pool lights were found hanging and detached, presenting a serious safety issue. A stark discrepancy exists between the actual state of the hotel and its description on ***********, which is deeply concerning. We intend to report this issue to *********** for falsely representing the hotel’s conditions and amenities. The quality of service and conditions we encountered was far from commensurate with the cost of our stay. It is deeply disconcerting when a hotel claiming a 5-star rating delivers such an inferior experience. I feel obligated to warn potential guests about these significant issues and recommend reconsidering a stay at the Tolip North Coast Hotel.
