Florence Santa Maria Novella Hotels

The overall hotel experience was great, far exceeding expectations! The room was clean and tidy, the hygiene was very good, and it was cleaned in time every day. The environment was quiet and elegant, and the public areas had a strong sense of design, especially the swimming pool area, which was super photogenic. The front desk and service staff were very enthusiastic, and the check-in efficiency was also very high. The facilities were complete, and both the gym and the restaurant were well maintained. The transportation was also very convenient, with buses and subway stations nearby, so traveling was stress-free. This time I stayed here with my friends, and everyone was very satisfied and felt that the price-performance ratio was very high. Next time I have a chance to come to Florence, I will definitely choose this place again, and I strongly recommend it to friends who come to visit!

Location- 5 minutes walking distance from Florence station. Breakfast- Simple and decent Cleanliness- It’s an old hotel but the cleanliness is well maintained. We enjoy our two nights here!

Great location right next to a tram station and not far from SMN. Bus stop that takes you to piazzale Michangelo is also around the corner. Breakfast was alright for what it was, delicious honey comb was on offer. Room was spacious for one and would work well for a couple as well. Air con worked great as my room faced west so got quite hot in the evenings. Bathroom could have used a bit of work as it showed signs of aging.

The hotel is located in a prime area, right outside the train station, offering easy access to the airport, attractions, and restaurants. The reception staff were friendly and always available to assist with any questions or requests. The double room we booked was clean and well-maintained. The breakfast provided by the hotel had a wide variety of options with great quality. All in all, we had a pleasant stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for convenience during their travels!

Very pleased with my stay. Hotel kindly upgraded me from a Single Room to a Double Room in low season in November, which is really nice. The room is spacious, with good natural light, double glazed windows and good ventilation/air con/heating. Toilet with stand shower is of a good size as well, not too small and cramped. Hotel location is super close to the central station in Florence, around 5 mins walk only to it, which is very ideal for travellers arriving into Florence by rail. It's slow walkable to pretty much all attractions (within 15-25 mins), so is a good place to base yourself in for a short stay. Similar to many hotels in Italy, there are a few steps at the entrance but there is a lift to get you up to your room. Check-in process is smooth and complimentary breakfast is decent. I especially love the coffee and jucie machine and pancakes offered. It'd be great if besides scrambled eggs, some kind of breakfast meats like sausages can also be offered. They do have some basic cold cuts and cheese and ham as well, yogurt, and cornflakes, it's a more diverse continental breakfast, which is great for a 3 Star Hotel. As the hotel is very close to the Train Station, you do hear trains / trams passing through from the streets, but the noise level is acceptable with the double glazed windows' insulation. I would recommend this hotel for solo travellers.

I recently stayed at Popartment in Florence, and overall, it was a great experience. The room was incredibly spacious, providing plenty of room to relax after a day of exploring the city. The amenities offered were more than sufficient, making the stay comfortable. I particularly appreciated the kitchen area, which allowed for some light cooking. The breakfast provided was decent, with a good selection to start the day. The neighborhood around Popartment was quiet and serene, which made for peaceful evenings, yet it was conveniently close to restaurants and shops. A short walk to the tram stop made it easy to access the city's main attractions, and the nearby establishments provided a variety of options for dining and shopping. The one area where improvement could be made is with housekeeping. While it’s understandable that the room isn't cleaned daily, I would recommend at least providing a service to take away the trash regularly. Overall, Popartment is a solid choice for anyone looking for a spacious, well-located, and peaceful stay in Florence.

Very nice IHG hotel near Florence central station and eith easy access thereby to all transport, including trams. The garage was very handy. The room was small and clean and amply equipped. There was a balcony with a pleasant view. The room and hotel in general were very quiet, despite high occupancy. The concierge was very helpful and, with easy walking, taxi or public transport options, we were soon at a wonderful restaurant he had recommended. Overall, a very good stay.

the service was good and the staff was friendly, although I forgot the lady's name assisting us for the checking in. We took the T2 tram from the train station to Guidoni tram stop, and it took us about six/seven minutes to reach the hotel on foot. upon our checking in, we were given a coupon for two wellcome drinks, and it was well received by both me and my wife. Overall we will definitely recommend this hotel to our friends.

It should be a B&B, with an inconspicuous little sign. The landlord will give you 3 keys, one for the main door, one for the hotel door, and one for your room. It's quite safe. The room is quite big, with free self-service snacks and coffee in the morning. The price is very reasonable. It's close to the train station and you can walk to the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore.

Our experience at Leone Blu was just superb. The hotel itself is an historical gem with fresco ceiling and stunning view on the Arno river. The location is amazing, right on the Arno river and few minutes walking from Uffizi museum and all the other major monuments and attractions. The staff made the whole experience even better, with a professional yet warm and welcoming attitude, just the best.
