Perfect hotel for experience! Great pool view and tennis court! Many activities in the resort!

Room was beautiful and staff very nice and helpful. Pool was crowded so had to get out early to get a lounger.

Nice hotel by the beach.

Hygiene: completely inconsistent with the performance that a hotel of this price range should have Service: The service is pretty good, but tipping is required, which adds a lot of hidden expenses. Environment: The room view is very good, but any additional services are charged, even water and snacks are charged.

The location is very good, but the service staff has no service awareness, and the cleaning staff does not speak English well. The room decoration is good, but the hygiene is average.

Lightning avoidance! ! ! ! The experience is very poor, not as good as expected. I originally booked a big bed room, but changed to another room type without notice. And the attitude of the front desk is very general and not worth the price. This price can completely go to other hotels, which is better than this experience and cost-effective. Second, check in to 1 hour before and after check-in. I can't rest early when I'm really tired. The room is very ordinary like a chain hotel.

Gorgeous hotel and grounds located right on the beach. Rooms were stunning, pool and beach set up were both excellent. Restaurant and var options were great. Only negative was a gentleman at the front desk with a serious attitude who was very rude . He is the reason I gave the staff a lower score.

Although this was an annual week stay for business/leisure it is unfortunately our last. It started with a poor check-in and ended with another sour note. We booked an ocean view, king bed, sitting area room and requested an upper level room which before the $75 per night resort fee was approximately $3,700 for a 4 nights. The price was expected. The bait and switch at check in was not. They gave us a downgraded room but tried to sell it to us as an upgrade because it was ADA retrofitted which we did not need or ask for. Jared/Mgr then changed our room to a smaller room but on the 17th floor. We decided to keep it as we still had our view. As the week progressed we had a clogged sink, skipped cleaning service, a request to extend our check out by an hour strongly debated etc. Although the pool staff remembered us by name and our warm, amazing and go the extra mile for every guest, we are sadly done with the W South Beach.

I loved this hotel. The rooms are beautifully decorated. Mine had a nice view. Breakfast buffet is delicious. Enjoyed a massage at the spa. Comfiest beach loungers I have ever experienced. I would definitely return here.

The overall wall of perfume when you walk into the lobby was overbearing. But everything else was perfect.

The hotel is gorgeous and has a nice luxurious feel without being pretentious. Access to tbe beach is great. Servers by the pool are friendly and polite. However, the pool is understaffed and it was hard to get service.

For years and years now we have been loyalist to the Loews hotel up the street. However we needed to stay at an upscale hotel for only two nights... and the Loews has a three night minimum. This was a last-minute decision to get away with my teenage daughter for a special daddy daughter trip. I decided to book our stay at the W...The hotel was absolutely gorgeous. From the moment you enter the front doors, the artwork and the spectacular surroundings ooze luxury. The staff were incredibly friendly. since we arrived at 10 AM, we were given keys to a hospitality suite so that we could get changed and utilize the pool and amenities while a room was assigned to us. The hospitality suite was spacious and immaculately clean and well appointed. The pool at the W is gorgeous with lots of seating. When we checked in I explained to the representative, whose name is Leity, that this was a special trip for my daughter and I had hoped we could possibly get a nice room upgrade! Well… We were absolutely blown away to find out we had been upgraded to a stunning suite overlooking the ocean!!!! THANK YOU LEITY FOR MAKING DREAMS COME TRUE! The W hotel was gorgeous and inviting and the service outstanding. Also, the attendant at the front whose name is Hal very graciously agreed to manage our suitcases and get everything into our hotel room. Seamless and outstanding! We will most definitely be coming back to the W hotel and loved our stay!

Had a wonderful stay. The three bedroom suite was fantastic and the service spectacular. Plenty of pool seats and ocean chairs. We will definitely be back
