Fantastic sentimental stay
Nice and tidy very comfortable bed
Don’t expect 4 stars modern quality
It is what it is everything works
Well restored need a bit more upkeep
Room 201 with balcony via the windows 😊
Highly recommended if you like the style just 10 minutes walk to Bob’ diner 😋😋😋

房屋一股黴味，千萬不要相信照片，房間非常小，是原來的馬房往上加了兩層做成的酒店！房子非常漂亮，設施太老根本就沒有維護！晚上9點左右到酒店就已經找不到前台的人！打了40分鐘電話沒人接，後來發現一層的一間房屋內有電話鈴聲，拚命敲門才出來一個黑膚色的女孩子，還在睡夢中一樣！入住後發現衞生太差，造成我皮膚過敏，換了間兩個床的勉強睡一夜。所以一切不會掩蓋這個房子曾經的美麗，這個街區曾經的華麗和輝煌！一切都是那麼的古老，心疼這個房子！

This turned out to be a cool place to stay. The location is perfect for accessibility. The hotel is historic and very clean. The courtyard is so cool to hang out and relax. Charlotte on the front desk was helpful and really pleasan. If ypur looking for modern and cookie cutter lodging this is not it , but if you want an experience in a safe clean hotel stay here.

So the property could use a few coats of paint. It is not cookie cutter which was what I wanted. The extra charge for around $40 on top of room rate and tax made it almost $250 a night. Parking was also a different price, $9 I stead of $7. Internet is not able except in the lobby. Other than those things everything was as described.

This is a historic hotel in downtown Mobile. The staff was very friendly. I could hear a little noise since the doors & windows were historic and not the modern sound resistant. All in all, I enjoyed my stay, and I would consider it again.

Charlotte - the daytime receptionist- was wonderful. She was helpful and friendly.
But the facility was lacking 2 very important amenities that are listed in ******* as being at the property: a bar (according to the night staff it is only opened for Mardi Gras) and in-room wifi (I had to go to the lobby to connect, but back in my room the connection would fail).
Also, it could have just been the location of my room, but I could hear the elevator and the closing of the lobby door ALL NIGHT.

Great pillow top mattresses. Comfortable beds. Friendly service. Bathrooms were great. Only thing. No refrigerator or microwave. Rooms are great, but basic. Did have a coffee pot. For some reason only decaf coffee is furnished. Great place to stay. Beds are very comfortable.

Was looking for a change of scenery after spending several (non-consecutive) nights in Mobile. What a gem!! The property has as much personality as the Assistant Manager/hostess/desk clerk. What a welcoming change of scenery and pace from where I had been. Perfect for a weekend getaway. Easy walking to restaurants or just a stroll downtown. Loved the place, loved the staff.
