Holiday Inn Moscow - Sokolniki

The hotel looks a little old, but the bed is very comfortable. It is conveniently located opposite the subway station and supermarket, and a few subway stations away from Leningrad Railway Station, Red Square and other attractions. There is also a large park nearby with good weather and many locals playing there.

Overall good: a few minutes walk from the subway station, a supermarket with complete restaurants across the street, and Sokolovnik Forest Park across the street, a good place for weekend leisure; the hotel has rich breakfast, complete fitness facilities, and friendly service staff; the Hong Kong restaurant on the top floor is the most authentic local Chinese restaurant in Moscow that I have experienced in more than ten years. The only small flaw: a Dior lipstick 999 that was almost never used on the dressing table in the room disappeared. It's not expensive, but it's a gift from my husband, so it's a pity.

The hotel is in a good location. Line 1 and Line 11 are right next to it. There is a supermarket opposite the hotel. It is convenient for shopping and eating. The breakfast is okay. The gym is also good and relatively complete.

1️⃣There was a piece of iron sheet falling off from the shower head, which hurt my hand. My hand was slightly cut, but it didn’t bleed, but it still hurt. I had to call the front desk three times before someone answered. After hearing it, I translated it in English and had to wait 20 minutes before someone came. The first thing I did after someone came was to rush to replace the old shower head. It seems to be destroying evidence. The hotel does not want to take any responsibility. 2️⃣The day we checked in was really not user-friendly at all. There was already a room at around one o'clock, but we had to wait until 1:58. The lobby was full of people, and they queued up to check in one by one. It was extremely slow, don't say anything. Wait for 20 minutes. I don’t understand. It’s really convenient for everyone to go earlier, and it won’t keep so many people waiting, isn’t it good? The layout of the hotel is too small. Who comes to live really affects the mood!

The location is good and the service is good. There are subway stations, shopping malls, and supermarkets nearby. There is also a chocolate factory about 1.5 kilometers away. The price is affordable and there are many varieties.
