Chanya Lodge is a new favorite. The staff, food, and particularly the setting make it a perfect place. I stayed with a large group - 20. Everything was on time, professional and of the highest quality. I will be back for sure!

We stayed 3 nights and visited Materuni waterfall, Nkomazi National Park and Moshi. Great hotel, superfriendly people. The swimming pool is a nice extra after a day at safari. Buffet is goid with local and international food. Definitely worth the stay.

This is a nice hotel with a nice swimming pool and lovely gardens. However my dining experience was less than satisfactory! The food was okay but not excellent. They serve good ice from their water preparation setup but they had no tonic for 2 of the 3 nights we ate there. We were with a group of 12. The first night it took a VERY long time to get our food . After eating we waited a long time to sign for our food; it never came so we went to bed. The next night they were supposed to serve a buffet; what they really did was serve us all the same meal together at the table; no buffet! After we were preparing for bed they knocked on our door asking me to sign for 2 nights of meals. On the third night we were first at the table and ordered. Several others came in, ordered and were served before us. Turns out they gave my dinner to someone else and I had to reorder. The staff are pleasant enough but really need some instructions as to how to improve their service.

I stayed before and after Kilimanjaro summit hiking 🥾, The hotel was located close to market and in green rain forest area. And access to main road. The facilities was very helpful after long hiking days, the check out was very early ( 10 AM) which to be revised to standard 12-1PM

We stayed before and after we climbed Kilimanjaro. The lodge was a welcome sight after both long hours of travel and tough days climbing. The lodge is beautiful. The staff was very attentive and helpful. Love Dora and Beatrice!!! 😁 The rooms are nice sized (bathroom also) and comfortable. Everything we ate was tasty and plentiful. I would definitely stay here again.

Probably one of the hidden gems outside Moshi town and a nice stop over for people travelling to the Kenyan border or from the Kenyan border of Taveta and Holili as well those coming to climb Mount Kilimanjaro. The rooms are nicely decorated with an African them finish; the open restaurant felt so good for me.

Lovely place to stay and beautiful location! Staff are extremely friendly and welcoming, and the rooms were very nice, modern and comfortable! Unfortunately my grandmother’s room had a small leak the first day, but this was sorted very quickly. We overall really enjoyed our stay here and would 100% recommend!

Chanya lodge is a beautiful oasis - a home from home. The staff are just wonderful, nothing is too much trouble. They treated us like family. The food was the best food I have ever had! Try the curries, so yummy. The stunning pool and gardens are a real treat, stunning rooms immaculately kept. Also the most amazing views of Mount Kilimanjaro as you have your morning coffee!!!! ❤️

Food and everything was awesome. The rooms were the best and everyone slept well. The amount of greenery is so good looking and gives alot of fresh air. The pool is good and I love the view of the restaurant by the poolside. Plus I love the idea of using glass bottles. Overall my experience was good
