Anshun Mountain view Hotels

The scenery here is absolutely breathtaking – no complaints there! However, because the bungalows are located on the mountain, we did encounter a few small bugs. When it rained at night, the raindrops hitting the roof above our heads were a bit noisy. The shallow end of the pool isn't really for swimming, as it only comes up to an adult's knees, so it's more suitable for kids. The deep end, on the other hand, is too deep to touch the bottom, which makes it feel unsafe for non-swimmers – a real dilemma! The evening campfire and iced tea experience was truly wonderful. The roasted sweet potatoes, roasted tofu, and roasted chestnuts were all delicious. There was also a live singer until 9 PM, which was very pleasant. The food at the restaurant was also very good, especially the homemade cucumber water and carrot juice, which tasted incredibly pure. This guesthouse is also fantastic for photos – every shot turns out beautifully! Plus, it's right next to Baling Bridge, and Dripingtan Waterfall is just below.

Comfortable and Convenient Stay with Thoughtful Host We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room is new and modern. However, shower room tiling can be improve further for one of the family room toilet. But the other toilets in the other rooms are good. The location is good, near the second entrance of Huang Guo Shu Waterfall which only opens for day trip. It has MacDonald & bubble tea shop nearby for comfort food. However, it is a 20 min walk from the main ticketing entrance for foreigners for day and evening tickets. Though it is quite a distance, but it is better than getting stuck in the heavy traffic during this peak season. Talking a stroll, passing by the restaurants are ok. The owner is fantastic — they assisted us with one parcel collection from Taobao, which was a huge help since collecting them ourselves would have been inconvenient. They also send our family out to the main road as our 9 seater big bus is not able to enter the small lane to the homestay. To walk to the main road, there is a staircase which is about 1 min walk up. Ok for young and young seniors, but may not be very suitable for very old people with walking difficulties. Overall, this is a highly recommended stay for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a host who goes the extra mile!

Excellent value for money! I spent quite a while choosing a hotel in the area and settled on this one, and it exceeded my expectations – I'm very satisfied! Facilities: The washer-dryer combo is incredibly practical. A large shower! Disposable towels! Good quality slippers! And a large projector screen with a membership for movies! Hygiene: Very clean! Environment: Lots of food options nearby, so no need to rush to the Second Tourist Center for meals. Service: The owner dropped us off at the First Tourist Center, which made getting to attractions and back to Anshun West very convenient. The hotel also stored our luggage for free. After a long day of sightseeing, I was exhausted and didn't want to go back to the hotel, so I contacted the owner, who enthusiastically helped us deliver our stored luggage to the First Tourist Center (it was the off-season, and I was charming!). In summary, it exceeded my expectations, and I'm extremely satisfied!

After traveling through Guizhou, I stayed in various hotels in Guiyang and other places for a few days, and they were all decent. However, this hotel in Anshun was surprisingly the most hassle-free. Daisy upgraded my room to a Deluxe View King with a large balcony, offering a fantastic view of the mountains in the distance and the lawn below. Waking up in the morning and stretching out on the balcony really energized me. The balcony also had a bathtub, and soaking in hot water in the evening was very relaxing. A huge bonus was the laundry room, equipped with a dryer and laundry detergent. After a sweaty day exploring the sights, I could just throw my clothes in to wash, and they'd be ready to wear the next day. No need to pile them up and take them home, which is incredibly convenient for travelers. The front desk was also quick to respond to any requests. All in all, this Anshun hotel provided a comfortable end to my trip. In the evening, I even saw beautiful radiating twilight from the hotel's lawn, which was stunning.

The hotel's location is excellent; turn left outside, and you can catch a tourist bus to various scenic routes. The hotel itself is quite good, with a well-equipped gym and laundry room, and the breakfast is also decent. Five-star praise goes to the hotel's operations manager! We met him when our child was playing in the pool, and he gave us many great tips on how to explore the Big Waterfall and other fun and tasty spots nearby. We followed his advice: in the morning, we went to Tianxingqiao, then did the 'Little Yellow Duck' rafting. Around 4 PM, we visited the Big Waterfall and walked through the Water Curtain Cave. At the exit, we tried Gongding tea. Because rafting took up some time, we had to skip Doupotang, saving it for a night tour next time. Finally, at Visitor Center No. 2, we used our package ticket for the 'Fly Over Huangguoshu' experience. It was a perfect day, and we're very grateful for the suggestions!

This was by far the best B&B I stayed at during my trip to Guizhou. I'd stayed at a Yaojia property in Zhejiang before, so it felt familiar when I booked it. The service was excellent, and for the price, it was absolutely worth it. The scenery outside the hotel is stunning and perfect for photos. We even got permission to fly our drone to capture the Detian Waterfall. There aren't many dining options nearby, but the food at the B&B was fantastic – delicious and incredibly generous portions. I never expected the pickled cabbage fish to have 10 catfish! Two people definitely couldn't finish it all. Next time I visit Anshun, I'd definitely consider staying here again. The Yaojia next door is owned by the same person, so I might try that one out next time too.

To this day, the hotel has not offered a solution. They only called me on a landline to ask if I was feeling better. On the day of check-in, the linens were fine. The next day, when we extended our stay, we asked for a sheet change. Around 10 PM, after getting ready for bed, I rested on the bed for about half an hour and developed a small patch of red bumps. I immediately contacted the front desk. Later, a female duty manager proactively contacted me. She didn't come to inspect the linens but directly asked if I had any requests to make. By 8 AM the next morning, both of my legs were covered in an allergic reaction. I contacted the front desk again, and a male manager came. He didn't proactively offer to move us to a different room. Even after we checked out – because my child also had a fever – we left around 3 PM. Apparently, the hotel's linens are laundered by a third party. As a result, they still haven't provided a solution to this day, saying they need to report it to their superiors. The last duty supervisor who called us just asked if the leg allergy had disappeared. The worst part of this trip was staying at a hotel that carries a five-star brand, only to have issues arise and receive continuous calls without any proposed solutions. I hope everyone avoids this place.

The inn I found temporarily during the Qingming Festival is located in Yunshan Village, which is very convenient. The owner and his family are very hospitable and they organize concerts in the evening, which is very pleasant. Most of the shops in the village are still under renovation. The place is not big and relatively quiet. You can go directly to Yunjiu Mountain to visit Yunjiu Temple next to it. At this time, you can overlook the rapeseed fields of Yunfeng Tunbu, which is very beautiful. The only thing is that you can't drive to the top of the mountain. You need to walk a mountain road to get in, but it's not far. Overall, it's good. I will come again next time if I have the chance.

Upon arrival, I received a complimentary room upgrade. The hotel offers a shuttle service to Huangguoshu Waterfall, and it's also a convenient 10-15 minute walk to the entrance. The staff were very welcoming. The only downside was the rather basic breakfast.

The biggest advantage of this hotel is its direct proximity to the Second Service Center, from where you can easily take a shuttle bus to your desired destination. You can park your car at the hotel, which is super convenient. The room isn't large, and the facilities aren't top-notch, so it really depends on what you're looking for. If convenience is your priority, then this place is great. The front desk staff were incredibly enthusiastic. Breakfast was also decent.
