"We stayed in the Bothy lodge last night and I would highly recommend if you are looking for a little escape! We absolutely loved it, the hot tub was amazing and all staff we met were lovely and helpful. Especially the guy that checked us in (sorry we didn’t catch your name) but he showed us round and made sure we had somewhere to eat that evening. The little touches in the lodge just made it, the complimentary tea/coffee and refreshments in the mini fridge. Breakfast this morning was lovely, we chose our options upon arrival and this was ready for us exactly at the time we requested it for, in a very peaceful conservatory/dining area. My only criticism would be that the sofa in the room could do to be a tad comfier if you wanted somewhere to sit and relax in the room and the open gate maybe could have done to be a little more private when you are relaxing in the hot tub! But overall it was a fab stay and I will be recommending to friends and family. Little gem you’ve got there!"

"The room was lovely, tastefully decorated with train station touches befitting its Mallard name. The bed was very comfy. Tea and coffee making facilities provided and my husband made ample use of the free tuck bar. Breakfast was great and my request for wholemeal toast was happily provided."
