First time staying at Mitsui Garden and it was one of our nicest stay in Nagoya. We had the Superior room with queen size bed for four nights on the 24 floor with breakfast. The room was spacious, enough for a big suitcase and two cabin.Very clean and modern interior and 5 minutes from Nagoya station with all the major shops and restaurants. The hotel had onsen for the guests. The breakfast buffé was fresh with both western and japanese dishes. You were also able to choose a main course from their breakfast menue.
The staff at the front desk made us feel welcomed both check in and check out went smoothly. We enjoyed our stay so much that we decided to rebook our earlier hotel reservation to Mitsui Garden for our last night in Japan. Relaxed, clean and modern hotel.

Very conveniently located at the Nagoya station so it makes travelling very easy esp with a toddler! Also it’s above the JR gate tower and there’s so many things to shop and eat. We could easily head down to Uniqlo, GU, BIC camera etc. Service was excellent. I had amazon packages delivered to the hotel on the day i was checking in, and the staff alr placed the packages inside my hotel room beforehand! Also hotel guests enjoy special offers at the restaurants on Level 12 and 13 which included the v popular Sushi no Midori! We had our best meal in Nagoya there… super fresh and affordable sushi. The only thing to note is that the rooms facing the train station can hear them coming in and out so if you’re a light sleeper it might disrupt your sleep. We were fine with it though. I would definitely stay here again!

I was thoroughly impressed by the overall experience. The location, directly above Nagoya Station, made travel extremely convenient, especially for a short stay. My room was spacious, comfortable, and offered stunning city views. The staff were courteous and efficient, ensuring a smooth check-in and a pleasant atmosphere throughout my stay. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of Japanese and Western options. I highly recommend this hotel for business travelers who value comfort, convenience, and attentive service while visiting Nagoya.

A fantastic stay with a prime location! The hotel is conveniently close to the subway, making it easy to explore the city. Plenty of dining options nearby. The staff are incredibly friendly and always willing to help. I appreciated the relaxing lounge area where I could rest before the official check-in at 3 PM. The Onsen is excellent, the breakfast is delightful, and the rooms are clean and spacious enough—not too cramped. A great choice for travelers!

For everyone who is booking this hotel, you can access escalator through exit 13 at Sakae station! Don’t take exit 12 carrying luggage 🧳
pros: relatively affordable, mattress & pillow are relatively decent cons: somehow dusty in the room (e.g. dust on the hangers, remote control, digital clock ⏰)

This is my second stay here; I also stayed last year. The price is reasonable. The room with one large and one small bed was just right and didn't feel cramped, though it might be a bit small for two adults. It's super convenient, right outside Sakae Subway Station Exit 2. The hotel is new and clean! Right outside, there's a famous Nagoya chicken wing restaurant, and a tonkatsu restaurant is also very close by. Nagoya TV Tower is also nearby. All in all, the location is quite convenient. One minor point: I'm not sure why my room was always on the fourth or fifth floor. I wonder if this is common for Ctrip bookings, as I noticed other Korean tourists and guests from different countries were assigned higher floors.

Located in the heart of Nagoya, this hotel is just a 200-meter walk from the subway station. There's a massive 7-Eleven conveniently located downstairs. Just two streets behind, you'll find plenty of dining options and bars. We chose this hotel because of its excellent central location, making it incredibly easy to get around. The rooms are a bit on the small side, so for two adults and two children, we booked two adjacent twin rooms.

1. Regarding the size, that's my fault. Maybe I don't even have a rough idea of what 11 square meters is, which makes it feel cramped and uncomfortable once I get in.
2. If the size is my fault, then how do you use the windows? Especially during the day, to let in light and air, you have to open the sliding windows. Once opened, the sunlight is incredibly glaring, and there's no shielding from the room. White gauze curtains are especially important to someone like me.
3. How do you cover yourself with such a thick blanket in such a hot summer? I know some people will say, ”Just turn on the air conditioning.” As long as you like it, I'll never go back.
4. The sink lid is broken and won't lift. When you use water, it doesn't drain away, but instead accumulates in the basin, which is very troublesome. You can confirm room 606.
After checking in, I immediately went to the front desk to cancel my reservation, and I understand they didn't agree. Ctrip is really responsible and helpful.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. Walkable from nagoya station. Slightly longer walk compared to other hotels, but it is not difficult to get there. Breakfast was decent, and the breakfast area was open to guests with water and tea after breakfast. Many places to eat and shop nearby, convenience store is also near. The area is not noisy, and room temperature can be self controlled. Only gripe is the extremely flat pillow. Overall, I would stay here again.

Disappointed by Inflexible and Unempathetic Service on Arrival
We had high hopes for our stay at this hotel from 28 June to 5 July, especially after reading so many positive reviews. Unfortunately, our very first interaction left us extremely disappointed.
On 28 June at around 2:20 PM, we approached Ms. Puja, an English-speaking staff member at the front desk, to request an early check-in. We explained that we had a baby who was asleep and hoped the hotel could extend some flexibility or understanding in our situation. However, instead of any empathy or effort to assist, we were told flatly that we would have to pay extra if we wanted to check in earlier than 3 PM.
We understand that hotel policies exist, and we chose not to argue or cause a scene. We waited patiently in the hotel lobby until check-in time. Still, we were taken aback by the lack of compassion and unwillingness to even explore options for a family traveling with a young child.
This is not the level of hospitality we expected in Japan, and certainly not from a hotel with such seemingly glowing reviews. Sadly, this experience has tainted the start of our trip, and we can’t recommend this hotel to travelers who value genuine customer service and flexibility, especially for families with young children.

PPraewPPRichmond Hotel is always a trustworthy brand for me when I have a trip to Japan. Room was always tidy and clean. Staff were always helpful and could communicate an easy English conversation. I asked a front desk lady to book a taxi service for my early departure and everything was well-managed. About the location, Richmond Nayabashi was a bit far from the subway station, but there was a bus stop right in front of the hotel and another stop was just across the street. It was convenient for travellers like me who like to travel by buses.

GGuest UserThe overall experience was very nice! It is very close to our car rental shop. We can go to Donki in a 5min walk and lots of restaurants are aside with good quality. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable. We especially love the showering area in our room which is spacious than expected.

AAnonymous UserThis was my first time staying at this hotel.
The staff were all kind and polite, and the facilities were well-equipped with a large public bath, bedrock bath, massage chairs, and more, so I was able to have a very comfortable stay.
For breakfast, I had bread and soup. The amount was just right for a busy morning, and it was delicious, so I was very satisfied.
I stayed in the South Wing, but there was an apartment building or hotel next door, so I couldn't open the curtains, so the only request I would make to the hotel is that I would like lace blackout curtains.

RRobert JohnA1 location directly above Nagoya Station and adjoining Meitetsu Department Store. Direct access from Nagoya Station via lift from B1 level.
Didn’t use any eateries in the hotel as excellent choice of restaurants, cafes and bars in the vicinity. Room cosy - as expected in Japan, but practical with all necessary amenities provided, including a nice capsule coffee machine. Hotel decor a little dated but served its purpose. Walls not very soundproof, could hear conversations from neighbouring rooms. Vending machines and free water dispensers on each floor with convenience store within the same building. Good four-night stay with no complaints.

AAnonymous UserIt's close to nagoya Station and Yanagibashi Market so it's convenient for travellers. The room is a typical Japanese double room, small but clean and you can get amenities in the lobby. They provide a light breakfast like bread, milk cereal and juice. A fresh start before your day.

GGuest UserApart from the small room, there are no shortcomings. This hotel is awesome. It actually has a happy hour from 18:00 to 20:00, offering draft beer, sake, red wine and other alcohol! ! There are also non-alcoholic beverages, coffee, and even snacks to go with alcohol, all available! ! Already recommended to friends! The hotel guests are also very nice. There is no contradiction at all in queuing for draft beer and they are all very polite. Although the room is small, it is well-equipped and the bed is quite comfortable. The breakfast is curry, which is relatively ordinary, but at this price and location, what kind of bicycle do you need? The grilled chicken wings are also near the hotel, a three- to five-minute walk, and they are especially delicious!
