"The hotel is great. I booked a one-bedroom room with a sea view. The view and facilities in the room were perfect. The kitchen is big enough, with all the pots and pans available. It takes 5 minutes to walk to the nearby woolworth supermarket to buy some food and eat it yourself when you come back. It is very cost-effective. Red wine glasses and champagne glasses are provided. The bathroom is also very large and spacious. In addition, sitting on the balcony in the evening, blowing the sea breeze and drinking some wine, is full of petty bourgeoisie. I will choose this hotel again next time I come. It takes 3-5 minutes to drive to the pier for going out to sea, and the transportation is extremely convenient."
"It is a nice hotel and is very near to the port where the whale watching cruises are. The reception is also nice enough to let us park the car after we checked out so that we join the cruise."
"Great experience overall for a long weekend stay around Nelson Bay. Walking distance to the shops and harbour area. Rooms are huge although outdated and could use some deep clean on some areas, but all appliances and equipment inside the room are functioning well."
"Champagne lifestyle on a beer budget! Absolutely beautiful newly renovated hotel. Stylish room decoration and fittings have a very luxurious feel, everything is brand new. Gorgeous comfy big bed, stunning water views. 10/10 shower. Fancy day beds by the pool. Hotel reception bar offers a selection of drinks, including nice wine and premixed cocktails. Lots of local information and recommendation available upon scanning the QR code in our room. Plenty of parking, and within easy walking distance to everything the town has to offer."
"The hotel is in a great location, close to the beach, restaurants and shops.
Check in was a bit odd, had to go into the pub to get my key, but the room was absolutely beautiful. Very clean and modern, absolutely loved it!!
Checking out was easy, just locked the door and popped the key in the checking out box.
Car park has limited spaces so can be a bit difficult.
But overall we were very happy with the accommodation. "
"A bit disappointed that Trip.com didn’t give you the option to claim NSW vouchers.
Landmark Resort provide excellent customer service, best I had ever experienced. Sam was amazing on our arrival and very helpful. Floors were sticky from soap residue, she came up within 10 minutes to wipe over tiles with clean water. Later that evening, she came up again to help me with the turning on the stove.
Apartment was immaculate and well designed for a small 1 bedroom. Comfortable and modern. Lots of double PowerPoints to plug in your own devices. Beautiful view off the balcony. Excellent fast wifi. Great pool and games room (air hockey with ability to team up with a partner - 4 players, plus other games).
Negatives:
1. Kitchen - No oven. Could add scissors, wooden spoon and smaller sized pan. Strange to have a huge fry pan to cook for 2 people, and on a small stove top. Also would recommend replacing Tefal type plans as they can become a health hazard when old.
Bathroom - Shower head could do with an upgrade to handheld as the fixed one is small, and only wets just below shoulders, plus splashes everywhere. We made good use of the spa bath. Square toilet seats aren’t comfortable.
Iron is very cheap and old. Dirt was coming out of the holes underneath and water kept spilling out of it."
"not suitable for the price. ,expensive for the location and accommodation, it looks like a hotel accommodation. small place, and the swimming pool is small. suitable for 2.berendam ."
"Very good tourist station. One small house, and a children's bunk. There is a small living room, a small kitchen, etc. Very suitable for permanent residence. The location is also very good! In short, it is recommended!"
"1. Standard two-bedroom configuration, with washing machine and dryer provided, large living room, suitable for chatting and daydreaming;
2. All the small attractions in Nelson Bay are good, I love Soliders Bay the most, Mr. Dog and Miss Rabbit are very photogenic;
3. Clever parrots and cute pelicans can be seen everywhere, and I admire their leisure;
4. It is less than 2 kilometers to the town, and the coffee and cakes in the town are delicious, the crabs are super fresh, and it is nice to sit on the balcony and have a healthy breakfast;
5. I am willing to stay for three or five days when I come again, just to be awakened from my sleep by the birds singing in the morning."
