The facade on the first floor is actually a BAR, the front desk is hidden in the corner, and the elevator is even narrower. Arriving in New York at night, I walked around the building twice to confirm that this is the hotel entrance. After going upstairs, the corridor is narrow and surrounded by dense rooms on both sides, and the room is even narrower and compact when entering the room. It is very similar to a budget hotel, and it has nothing to do with a four-star hotel. The room facilities are simplified to the extreme. There is no refrigerator, microwave, coffee machine or other facilities, no wardrobe, only a few hangers on the wall, and the desk is a foldable desk-sized table. Because the room faces the inner side, there is no city view. Compared with other cities, housing prices are quite expensive. It seems that this is the consumption in New York.

The most expensive room in this area, but it's also very narrow, and the indoor facilities are okay. Maybe you just came from Washington. The same price, the hotel has a big gap, but it's a little worse than China's Samsung Business Hotel

Great customer service. The atmosphere is very inviting. Great music at night in front of lobby. Walking distance to near by restaurants.

Front desk lady did not even look at me during our check in. The whole time she had her eyes on the computer screen. The only words she said was "checking in?" "last name?" then handed us our key cards. The following night there were 2 gentlemen who were very nice.

The view from the executive suite was fantastic! But it's a very nightclub atmosphere even in the "jazz" bar.

Great hotel. Area a little intimidating at night.
My only criticism of the hotel is that there is no fridge in the room. The only hotel I’ve ever stayed in in my life without one!

The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are stylish, but the hotel service is not great. They apparently don’t clean rooms daily even just to empty bins and replace towels. Never seen this in a 4* hotel. Very basic toiletries (eg. No body cream; combo body wash/shampoo). Front desk staff were abrupt and condescending. Doorman pushed around my Uber eats delivery driver. Neighbourhood is very dirty and abrupt. Will stay elsewhere next time.

Hotel was aesthetically pleasing , if you are into nightlife definitely recommend. Hotel stays close by to subway which was nice. Rooms are smaller than expected barely any room and no closet or any space to unpack your luggage which was disappointing.
