No elevator! No elevator! No elevator! Please make sure you're okay with stairs before booking to avoid any misunderstanding; the location is excellent—right in the heart of Semporna town, with convenience stores and food stalls just downstairs; there's a Chinese restaurant on the 1st floor (authentic Chinese cuisine by a Chinese chef, not local flavor); a rooftop shared kitchen on the 4th floor is coming soon—perfect for cooking, gatherings, or stargazing; it’s about a 10-minute walk to the jetty, so island hopping and early boat tours are easy to catch; since it’s in the city center, it can be lively—we provide free earplugs to help you sleep well; nearby mosque prayers start around 4:30 AM daily, which is part of Malaysia’s cultural and religious diversity—thank you for your understanding and respect.
"Traveling alone with an 8-year-old son. I was lucky to choose this hotel. The boss is a young beauty, can speak Chinese, and communicates well. Because the hotel has just opened, it is very clean. Originally, they said that the town was dirty and messy, worried about not being clean, but the bedding was taken for a disposable four-piece set, which was useless. The proprietress was afraid of formaldehyde, the cabinet was not placed in the house, and the ventilation was outside. So there is no place to put bags in the house, and the facilities are not perfect. Believe in a few days, it will be perfect.
The hotel is in the center of the town and it is super convenient to eat. Downstairs is the breakfast shop. The opposite side is Watsons. Net red milk tea shop, durian shop. I rushed to the pier once, and the backpack was in the breakfast shop. I couldn't go back to get it. I contacted the proprietress on WeChat and immediately took it back.
Downstairs is very busy, I started to worry about noisy, and after the result came, I jumped to the island every day, I fell asleep when I was tired, I slept well, and I slept super fragrantly. Get up at 7:15 the next day, eat breakfast downstairs, and walk to the pier in 10 minutes. Perfect, no need to take a taxi at all.
There is nothing to go shopping in the town. On the last day, we stayed in the water house, and the luggage was stored in the hotel. After returning to the town at noon, there was no place to stay. The proprietress invited us to sit with her very warmly. Although we checked out, we also had a place to stay.
On Sunday, I left Semporna and asked the proprietress what kind of souvenir to buy. I learned that I had to walk for about 13 minutes, and I was a little discouraged. Fortunately, his father and boyfriend were there on Sunday, driving me and the child to buy a hand-made office. I wanted to spend all the MYR on my hands, but the clerk didn't allow me to make up the difference with WeChat. His father paid MYR for me. It was super nice."
