Hotel was not what I was expecting, night auditor was extremely rude and stereotyping guests, room had bugs in the corners and behind the desks. Rooms clearly had not been cleaned thoroughly because left over liquor, empty liquor bottles and standing water was there during our stay. Spoke with front desk attendant about the night auditor and the room and was told they are used to complaints about that employee and that the manager was likely not going to do anything. After my stay I realized I left a fire stick and one of my guest who was a child, lost their necklace in one of the rooms. I called the hotel the next morning to inquire about the items and to speak with the manager since she was not available during my stay, to speak with another front desk attendant that took my information and told me that the manager of the housekeeping depar**ent would reach out to me, since my room hadn’t been rented out yet. I had received no call or contact and this same routine went on for three days. After the third day and not getting a return call EVER, I figured housekeeping kept those items and that the front desk attendant was right about the manager… in other words NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY!

Most of The staff was rude. There was popcorn trailed all through the hotel. Hair dryer was broken in the room. The elevator was by far the worst I’ve ever seen. Very old looking and very slow. You wait at least 5 mins every time. Staff spoke badly about over guests in front of guests. The fridge in the room was filthy and the shower.

Hotel staff was extremely helpful with asking for floor preference and getting us extra linens. Some water dripping through light in bathroom on the first night but otherwise a clean room. Breakfast could use waffles to appease the kids.

We stayed there 2 nights, first day we arrived, checked in was ok. We got to our room, the carpet was dirty, there were big dirty dark spots near the entrance and the sink, bed was near the heater, and the heat blew to my face all night. Second day morning breakfast was terrible, turkey sausage was dried, oakmeal was super thick, that’s why I just skipped the breakfast the next day. We went out and came back to our room at 5pm, we couldn’t get into our paid room, because they didn’t update it, finally we got in our room, and the room was ‘untouched’ , no one cleaned the room, then we have to call the front desk and therky sent us someone to clean it. Finally we can sit down and thought we can watch some TV, but the tv was showing ‘no signal’ ! This is it, we had enough for the day! Anyway, this hotel is overpriced $170 CAD per night! I trusted the name Marriott, but the whole experience was awful!

When I arrived I was assigned a room and when I opened the door the smell of cat pee was overwhelming. I walked into the bathroom and there was snot on the tissue holder on the wall. The floors were grimy. I went to the desk and asked for a different room. The gentlemen at the desk was very friendly and apologized. He gave me another room. That room was cleaner by the floors were gross. Even found someone's eyelashes on the floor. By that point I was travel weary and decided to deal with it. I would not stay at this particular hotel again.
