Cappadocia Splendid Cave Hotel

This hotel is fantastic. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The staff and people are amazing and I'm glad I made friends with them all. HIGHLY recommend this hotel for a beautiful experience. And the hotel and rooms itself are beautiful. Can't go wrong.

As this hotel is far and there is no dining apart from the morning breakfast, addition of a restaurant would be desirable. They should have a trolley for luggage. Now they carry it manually.

Been to many hotels in cappadocia and I can assure you that this is one of the best, if not the best. The breakfast is amazing, you can find everything you need in a Turkish breakfast. The rooms are clean. We had one with a jacuzzi, it was worth it. The staff are friendly and helped with the booking for every activity. I can really recommend the hot air balloon.

The manager Sali is very accommodating, beautiful person and genuinely cares about his guests. Always helpful and making sure that he does what he can to make your stay pleasant. His staff are mostly green and it appears that most don’t have hotel experience. They are nice and helpful. The facility is quite newly renovated and still shows traces of construction. Some areas are still under development. The cave rooms are comfortable however I feel that they need more ventilation as i feel it becomes stuffy if I stay in a while. The facility location is off the beaten path and will not be suitable for anyone with disability or has difficulty walking as within the facility are stairs everywhere. It adds to the charm but again not for everyone.

What a beautiful hotel, stunning room with beautiful views. Breakfast was very good. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a splendid stay in Cappadocia and just love this part of Turkey 🇹🇷 A definite "go to" for an amazing experience in the air balloons and all the historical places to visit. Was one of our highlights on our visit to Cappadocia.

I’m a relatively experienced solo female traveler, and this hotel was probably my favorite travel experience yet! This was my first trip to Turkey, so I was unsure exactly what to expect, but the staff at Splendid Cave made every aspect of my stay amazing. I can’t say enough! First, I was greeted by my name and a welcoming smile before I even got through the gate. Then, I was pleasantly surprised to find my room had been upgraded to a jacuzzi room without my asking. The aesthetics of the hotel are beautiful inside and out- and the bright colors used through traditional decor set against the monochrome cave landscape make for both beautiful picture opportunities as well as a cheerful and immersive a**osphere - an authentic stay at a boutique venue, for sure. The on-site restaurant is convenient and 100% accommodating to guests’ mealtime schedules, and the kitchen and reception staff are equally jovial and kind - always a smile- always happy to please. The hotel is set in a really unique place- it’s built into to cliff-sides of a steep valley which gives the authentic cave-room stays that guests are looking for in Cappadocia, but, as an added uniqueness, it sits face-to-face with a cliff of unmodified traditional cave dwellings. It’s incredibly awesome to look out into the valley and find yourself steeped in the history of Cappadocia. I’m the evening it’s quiet and relaxing. The trial below the hotel is easily accessible and offers a 8km walk in either direction that leads guests through an off-the-beaten-path opportunity to explore the landscape on their own, if they wish. I walked several km myself, taking time to climb on and interact with the ancient cliffs and caves along the way. During my stay, I scheduled a massage with Ismail- the experience was so relaxing I ended up booking a second one the day before my long travels home. Definitely recommend. If you’re looking for a place to feel completely worry-free, relaxed, rejuvenated, and authentically wrapped in a cave hotel experience - you can’t beat Splendid Cave. I will absolutely be returning to what is now one of my very favorite places!

The hotel staff are super friendly. They are very helpful and always had a smile on their faces. I would recommend this hotel to people who are interested in experiencing the culture. The room I stayed in was clean and view of the small valley the hotel is located in is great.
