The Salt Hotel is such a great addition to Ilwaco. Simple sophistication, clean and with a most spectacular location literally right next to the harbor/marina. Sunrise was a Hawaii-class burst of flaming colors. It’s the place to be in Ilwaco.

This was our third or fourth visit. We love the location along with the onsite pub. It is in a historical area and has several state parks. The hotel is dog friendly and the rooms are comfy. We hope to continue with yearly visits and have other family join us.

Very comfortable, food was amazing and staff is super friendly. Waking up to the sunny dock was quiet and beautiful. The rooms were stocked with our favorite coffee and the pub brought out to go order to our room. We were very in heaven, can’t wait to come back

Super chill little hotel. Quaint but right on the water at the Marina. Fantastic pub downstairs with great food. Pleasant walk along marina and waterfront. Easy parking. People were great to deal with. Fast automated check-in that was smooth. Recently renovated. The room was clean and tidy. Bed was super comfy. Not a big room by any means but cozy. Shower is a bit rough. Not bad if you like scalding hot water. Needs to be played with for a moment - Think of it as a bit of a learning curve. Definitely will stay again. Skip the rat race of Long Beach and Ocean Park. They are literally five minutes away from this great little town and hotel.

5/5 Excellent! A quiet little corner that deserves exploring. The Salt Hotel overlooks an active fisherman's harbor. The sea air rejuvenates. It's a simple room well kept and most adequate for exploring the area. Of notable mention- the attached restaurant. Although we didn't get a chance to eat there on this trip it's been a favorite on that coast. I'd say it's the most authentic Cioppino you'll find. Friendly bar hosting some interesting local characters. We will continue to visit the Salt Hotel.

Lovely spot with harbor views from the conveniently located restaurant downstairs, which served us well for dinner both nights. The bed was terrific! The place was spotless. And they use environmentally friendly soap and shampoo. We really appreciated the contactless checkin and checkout. We were well apprised of the process and room codes before arrival, and perfectly timed texts kept us informed and reassured that we were well looked after. We enjoyed the quiet, rustic space to relax after a long walk on the beach, and availed ourselves of the excellent selection in the adjacent bookstore for our beach reads. We will definitely stay here again! The only downside: sometimes it took several tries to get the door code to work. Small inconvenience overall.

This place is awesome. Food was delicious and the room was comfortable and spotless. The staff was second to none. Real nice marina with a lot of beautiful boats. We met some very nice people and the fishermen were very informative. We will return

Great little hotel to stay in if you are fishing/visiting Ilwaco. Walking distance to the charter boats and food. Plenty of parking right across the street. Friendly professional staff that respect your privacy. Comfy beds and quiet rooms that are priced right. Better than I expected by quite a margin. I know right where I'll be staying next trip. Couldn't ask for more.
