Terrible treatment of customers. We booked there by booking 2 nights. We had a late flight to Palermo. I let know about it to the owner. First he told me that it will cost more for late check in. I was ok. Then he changed his mind and told me that we can come next day at 10 o clock's am. I said ok I will come next day. Next day at 9 am. he canceled my reservation. I was without place to sleep and money. Owner told me that it’s his apartment and his rules. I don’t recommend this place to sleep.

Location Walking distance from Palermo train station. It easy to find the hotel by using Google maps. Check in We contact the owner of the hotel before leaving England through WhatsApp. At the arrival he makes you feel comfortable by giving you a traditional Palermo drink. Rosario is helpful gives a lots of useful tips( how to get around Palermo). He explains you how to function the air-conditioning and how to lock the B&b main door. Bedroom We stayed in room 3. It is spacious with a good size shower room. Everyday, he ask us what we need ( fresh towels). We have a fridge. Air-conditioning is working exceptionally well. Communal area It consists a lounge. We can use a kettle to make coffee and tea. Rosario provides complimentary fresh fruits, biscuits and teabags. The terrace gives an amazing a view over the market and there are few tables and chairs available. This is my favourite part of my holiday. Noise Because it is next to a busy market. The noise level is quite high with lots of loud music ( starting from the morning). Although I still manage to relax. I just use a pair of ear plugs to stop the noise. Overall If you like you to experience Palermo old town without spending a fortune. This is a place for you!

SCARAFAGGIO IN STANZA! ABBIAMO LA FOTO come prova! Rimborso per la notte che volevamo disdire e stato ricavato con LO SCANDALO! PROPRITARIO - NON È ADEGUATO E NON SI COMPORTA BENE! Dettagli: abbiamo prenotato e pagato, con piena fiducia il 100%, in anticipo per i giorni 29 e 30. La prima notte abbiamo trovato uno SCARAFAGGIO sopra il letto: per fortuna, prima di ucciderlo, l'abbiamo fotografato perché colpiti dall'accaduto, e col pensiero che magari non ci credesse (come è stato!). Avvisato, alle 22:08, appena successo è arrivato per pulire, per quanto possibile, la testa del letto. Dopo una notte insonne per la paura che venissero fuori altri scarafaggi, al mattino successivo all'evento abbiamo deciso di andare via perché non ci sentivamo più sicuri. Ci è stato proposto di cambiare stanza ma non ci sentivamo più in un luogo sicuro. Non volevamo più stare anche la notte successiva, anche se già pagata: volevamo, e abbiamo chiesto, solo il rimborso per la notte non usufruita. È iniziato lo scandalo, addirittura dando tutta colpa a noi, tutto pur non pagare! 4 frasi per farvi capire cosa ci ha detto: - abbiamo portato noi ospiti nella nostra valigia lo scarafaggio! - non volete rimanere ancora una notte: non dormite bene perché avete trovato lo scarafaggio: è un problema vostro! - vi do il rimborso se mi trovate un'altro scarafaggio proprio ADESSO!!! - voglio vedere come è pulita a casa vostra!!!!??? Il rimborso della notte non usufruita è arrivato ma è stata davvero una brutta esperienza: chiedevamo (ma non si doveva neanche chiedere data la situazione e il tipo di lavoro) solo un po' di correttezza e un comportamento civile, senza illazioni gratuite, accuse diffamanti e litigi. NON ANDATE!
