The room is very big, with two floors. Downstairs is the kitchen and living room, upstairs are two bedrooms and two bathrooms, four people can use it very comfortably. The kitchen utensils are complete, and there is a small supermarket next to the hotel, you can buy groceries and cook at home, which is very convenient.

Service: Because it is an apartment hotel 🏨, I didn't experience the butler service. I didn't clean up the hotel room when I arrived at 11 o'clock, and the front desk didn't confirm when I could check in. I just asked to put my luggage and go to eat by myself, and I didn't even Who to drink.
Checked in at 14:30, the room was on the 4th floor, we had to take a detour, and there was no one to guide us, so we took our luggage 🧳 a big adventure, and it was a waste of time to move it up~
It is recommended to live in the center of Cairns! ! !

The best accommodation we have stayed in at Palm Cove, and we have tried quite a number! Fantastic location, excellent staff, beautiful apartment, gorgeous amenities with three lovely pools - couldn't ask for more! Can't wait to go back :)

This apartment complex is truly wonderful. The size of the apartments, the facilities of the resort, and the friendliness of the staff are all top notch. The position is terrific, nothing is far away, and the Cairns bus stops right outside. We thoroughly enjoyed our 7 nights there, and will definitely be coming back in the future.

Our travel agent suggested Alamanda and we are glad. We really liked the upgrade to a 2 bedroom apartment on the ground floor. There is no elevator so lugging our suitcases up flights of stairs would have been doable but a pain. The next door convenience store offers food options and NuNu Restaurant, also on the property, had innovative and yummy food. I love swimming in the ocean & it’s not possible in Palm Cove -they are crocodiles & jelly fish- except in a netted area down the beach. The water is warm & there’s a life guard. This was a relaxing place to base from to visit the Great Barrier Reef & rainforest in the midst of our 3+ week Australia & New Zealand trip.I wish the 3 pools had more shade options but the loungers on the grassed area & on our deck offered options.

We Were Robbed Don’t Go Here! We had a 5 day stay at this resort it was Dirty Spa was filthy, Crockery Dirty Manager was Rude We were Robbed and had money jewellery stolen Hire Car was Stolen later that Day Thieves came back to the Resort and Stole Our Hire Car. Management were unprofessional inconsiderate lack compassion. No Security What So Ever. Much better places to stay. Still suffering from this horrible experience. If We could give Zero Stars would be helpful. Scary Time Ruined Our Week We Saved Hard For. Don’t Be A Victim Like We Were. Bad Bad Bad Karen and Shaun January 2025.

While we were told a couple of weeks out that the main pool would be unavailable, we were not told that it was a construction site, with constant drilling noise for 10 hours a day. The noise did die down on the weekend, so if you do chance a visit, try to stick to Saturday or Sunday - otherwise I'd avoid this location until 2025. $800/night is a lot to pay for a room that you need to avoid for much of the day. The timeframe of the pool works keeps changing and, when we visited in June, there looked to be months of work left. There is no appetite to improve experience for guests or be transparent with the situation, as the 'pool closure' notice on the website only ever shifts a couple of weeks at a time and is not a realistic estimate of when it will all be complete. Palm Cove itself on the other hand is beautiful and I would 100% recommend a stay in this town - just choose different accommodation.
