There is no air conditioning in the room, and it is very stuffy and inconvenient without opening the windows; the elevator is under maintenance and is a bit old; there was a power outage last night. The overall facilities are not very good and the price/performance ratio is not good.

Family members come from Korea and say that you must visit at least once before you die.
I've been to Atitlang
I came back believing that it was a place I had been to several years ago.
There was also a large lawn where pet dogs could run and play.

Beautiful hotel in a great location with gorgeous view from the room. Staff is extremely helpful, greatly appreciate them checking me in early when I was feeling sick.

Beautiful view, nice pool area. Comfortable beds. Lack of information, for example we had to reserve hot tub ahead of time and were not told. How to get pool towels was also a mystery- had to find one certain person and ask him.Very little information is shared at check in so I had to keep asking questions.

We thoroughly enjoyed our staff at Porta Lago. The staff were so friendly. The hotel is conveniently located near shopping and restaurants. The view of the lake from our room was spectacular

I booked a suite with a lake view. I was given a suite but with no view. When I went back to the front desk I was notified that none of the suites had a lake view. All suites are on the first floor, and with no lake view. If you want a lake view you have to request a smaller room on the 3rd floor or above. The smaller rooms on the 3rd floor and above are cheaper then the suites. The hotel refused to refund me the differences between the two rooms. All they offered was the free breakfast buffet for the two days. The food and selection was disappointing. The hotel staff were friendly and the rooms were clean. But their listing of a suite with a lake view is a lie and you will not get refunded any money.

We LOVR the Porta Hotel in Antigua so we decided to stay at the Porta in Pana on this visit. It was a pleasant hotel in a good location with a pleasant staff. The room was spacious but dated. They could definitely use an update. Likewise the restaurant was adequate but not a stand out. Breakfast was better than dinner. The pool area gets a thumbs up.
