Had a very pleasant stay at this hotel!
All services in this hotel are performed with the u**ost care. If there are already comments, we actively listen and immediately try to resolve them.
Although this is a large hotel, this is not really noticeable as several slices have been made where the guests can stay. Except in the main restaurant it can be very busy, but in other places this is manageable. Breakfast by the sea is a must.
Selection of drinks is very extensive and well cared for. Meals are very tasteful.

Just had a great week at this Hotel. The rooms are all in blocks ,like living in a village. Very clean and modern. We stayed all inclusive ,and the food was excellent and varied. The staff are very friendly and helpful. You could swim in a different pool everyday, there were so many! ,and you have the waterpark too.The Hotel also has a private beach. As the Hotel stretches down to the sea, the rooms are on different levels, so be prepared for steps. Our room was in a block at the top of the road so we had to walk down each morning to the restaurant. Great hotel for children especially with the waterpark. There is a little village within walking distance of the hotel, which has gift shops and restaurants. We took a 40 minute bus ride from the village to Rethimno Town, cost 6 euros return per person , great going, but coming back be prepared to stand on the bus as its so busy. The town has lots of shops restaurants and a lovely little marina. On our last evening we ate at one of the 3 a la carte restaurants at the hotel, a lovely meal to end a very enjoyable holiday.

I don't usually leave reviews but I found them very useful when I was booking for this trip, so it would be wrong not to. I travelled here with a family of 4 first week of May, we arrived late at night and unfortunately we wasn't too happy with the room we were given (it didn't match the layout of what we was expecting) however, I let them know at reception the next morning and within a couple of hours we were given a much better suited room with no hassle at all. The thing that stood out for us during our stay was the great customer service throughout the whole resort, this really makes a difference and is unfortunately rare these days. Nothing was ever too much trouble, everyone smiling and making sure you were ok. The pools were great and suitable for everyone, I didn't find them cold like some of the other reviews, admittedly the aquapark pools were colder and did prevent the kids from spending too much time in them but they wasn't too fussed as they were happy at the main pools. The food was some of the best we've ever had on holiday, I was surprised to read some negative comments about the food. The only minor complaint we would make here is that we think the kids buffet selection could have been a bit more varied (it takes up a small area compared to the main selection). Overall, we would definitely recommend this place to any families thinking about it. I would book with this hotel franchise again with the biggest positive being the customer service 👌🏽

Great hotel, great food. Staff smiling and helpful. Pernonel works in such a way that you feel the most important. The manager, Klaudia, is a wonderful girl, a great organizer, very communicative and helpful. Great pools, warm water. I recommend highly

Fabulous! Such an amazing hotel with fabulous staff and great facilities. We are here as a family of 8 (4 grandparents, 2 parents and 2 boys aged 9 & 7). We have been going to a Greek island as a family in October for the last 5 years and this is the best yet! On arrival, the hotel gave the best impression. We arrived late in the evening, around 23:30 and were led to snacks and drinks which were delicious. Anything you ask, the staff try to accommodate. They send a survey asking how your stay is and act upon any concerns or issues you may have. The hotel is spotless. The unsung heroes are the cleaners. They always say good morning and work hard all day to keep the place beautiful. Our children have had the best time, spending time between the hotel pool, the water park and the indoor pool - we haven’t made it to the beach yet but we will! Food is fabulous, always hot and plenty of choice. All staff were extremely helpful, one whose name we remember is Eleni. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. We wouldn’t hesitate to return.

We booked the hotel through a travel agent for the first week of the season and were not disappointed. We are a family of seven with kids aged 13, 11, 9, 6, and 3 so we had to get two rooms. Check in and rooms The check in was efficient and quick. The hotel doesn’t have connecting rooms, but they were close together. It is important to note that rooms in the old part of the hotel were a little shabby. However, we were moved to the newer rooms of the Marine Palace close to the slides. These rooms were great and had a kitchenette and an attentive staff. Food The food was very varied and of good quality. I had better in fancier hotels, but the kids enjoyed the experience. Local Greek wine bottle brought to the table were a great touch and the staff was once again superb. Pools April in Crete is a little cold and most pools are not heated so expect chilly 19-20 degrees water. That said, the hotel had one warm water pool in which the kids had a blast. The beach is a small cove and relatively lovely. Water park Seriously the highlight of the trip as far as my young ones are concerned. No lines on April. Water too cold to use the toddler area but the older ones had a blast on the big slides (open 10:30 to 17:00) Entertainment A little spotty. This isn’t Club Med. Kids disco at 20:30 and another activity at 21:30. Kids club had a great staff but tiny facility. There is a full service kids club for German / Swiss club member that isn’t open to everyone. Recommendations Rent a car and hire a sail boat Go see the lakes and the towns around.

Great resort, very clean and tidy. Many pool options for you to lounge about throughout the day. Food options were good something different everyday and there was always a good choice. Deserts wernt that good not much choice. Kids could get icecreams throughout the day which was good for them. Also they made fresh Crepes in the afternoon. They put snacks out throughout the day so you could just help yourself, aswel as cold drinks. Aqua park was good for the kids they had fun. I would say the Family Entertainment Is poor. The entertainment team do one dance on a morning for the kids and thats it, then on a night they do a family disco at 20.30pm for 30minutes. After they maybe something else on for another 30mins but thats it. They do have a kids club but we never used it. Overall we would definately come back in the future. As a family we had a lovely time here.

Very good place for family vocation. Aquapark for all ages , different types of activities for small and big. Nice stuff and good food. No one is forgotten her. Nearby small village Panormos with local shops and tavernas. It was really good time for us .

Absolutely one of the best hotels we have ever been to. The service was exceptional throughout our stay. The resort, buildings and interior are spectacular. The breakfast, lunch and dinner was delicious and the food varied everyday. Loved the fresh strawberries. There were also lot of options for pickier kids at the buffet. The drinks selection was very good. It was also nice that there were snacks, pastries and crepes available during daytime. Pool areas were nice and pools clean. For us the water temperature (pools and sea) was perfect. Not too warm and not cold. There were several pools to choose from and plenty of poolbeds available around the resort. Aqua Park was a perfect way to spend a warm synny day. There were several types of waterslides. We had the chance to enjoy the beach also. The beach was clean and the scenery beautiful. Beach bar, toilets and outdoor showers were a great addition. Our room (bungalow with a seaview) was nice and clean. The room was cleaned everyday. The view from our terrace was beautiful. However, the furniture was a bit outdated, but this didn't affect our experience much. There are only one pillow per bed and the walls are not soundproof at all which were propably the only minuses for us during our stay. The possibility to wash our clothes at the self service laundry was a pleasant surprise for us. There were a lot of nice activities everyday at the resort (quiz nights, bingo, shows ect.). We also enjoyed the game room and all the sports options. The village of Panormos is closer to the hotel. It is small but beautiful and definitely worth visit. There is also the mini market opposite the hotel which has a good selection. We will definitely come again to Grecotel marine palace and aqua park.
