What a perfect holiday we had at Salvator. From the warm welcome to the sad goodbyes every bit of our experience was just brilliant. Every single member of the small team goes out of their way to be helpful and friendly and we all completely relaxed into their care. The food was excellent, the bar a relaxed and happy place to spend time and our villa was lovely. The little library is a great touch (particularly as I ran out of books!) The courtesy bus into Parga is brilliant but if the times aren’t right for your plans, it’s an easy 20/25 minute walk downhill (we didn’t ever walk back tho!). The gym is small but has everything you need and was very quiet in June when we were there. We’d definitely return and might choose to hire a car next time for wider exploring. Thank you so much to everyone there who made our first holiday abroad in 4 years an absolute dream.

On arrival, we were greeted by Noni who welcomed the group and showed us all around the facilities and our rooms. The receptionists, Noni and Vicky, were both excellent and helped with booking trips and giving advice on the area. The daytime restaurant and bar staff (Tasos and Brisilda) were also excellent and looked after us very well with drinks and food around the pool and restaurant. They always had time for a nice chat and smile and did a very good job of taking care of us. Our first week was pretty poor weather-wise and the two other couples (one with baby) who arrived with us went home after 7 days and, to be honest, we wanted to return to the UK with them. On the second week, however, the weather started to pick-up and we managed to sit around the pool more and go walking into town and other restaurants. We tried booking 2 trips around the area but the tourist numbers were not sufficient to enable the trips to run. We did do the Anti-Paxos and Paxos boat trip and also the 'train' from Parga (which was excellent and the best 9E we spent all holiday) and also the day trip to Albania, which was superb. Overall we did enjoy our holiday but, had the weather been better, it would have been great.

Parga is beautiful, perhaps a little crowded, but with history, beautiful scenery and the friendly Greek people it's no wonder, the hotel is quiet and comfortable, we had a Villa with a great view and pool not to mention the huge comfy beds, but what made our holiday were the staff, who made us feel like old friends from the moment we arrived, nothing was too much trouble for them, it was like being looked after by a large family and we all miss them as much as our lovely villa which is a new experience for me in 40 years of travel, stop reading this and go there now. The good stuff - nice modern hotel when you arrive. Absolutely wonderful staff, helpful, courteous and nothing seemed too much trouble. The indifferent stuff - we had two days of rain and a dull day. The hot water disappeared. I suspect the main power for this is solar but after two / three days the hot water went to tepid at best. There was a sort of explanation about the back up system takes time to get water to the rooms, but two days? Poolside. Two parasols for ten sunbeams - not enough, and one of those was ripped with exposure to the sun - as were the 'curtains' round the restaurant area. And some of the sun bed covers were dirty. It looked very tired, it needs money spending on it. One last issue. The hotel is about a mile out of town. Easy to walk down the hill into ton, but you wouldn't want to walk back in 30C. But there are only 10 cabs in the whole town. You will queue and wait for a cab back. And on transfer days, don't even think about getting a cab before 15.00. Not a problem with the hotel but something to be aware of.

If I owned a Hotel I would want the staff to be as helpful, friendly and happy as the Salvator team. They go above and beyond to make people’s holiday experience enjoyable. We really enjoyed staying here. It’s clean with lovely rooms. Breakfast was pleasant and the restaurant food was very good. The walk into Parga is downhill and takes around 15 mins. We tended to use the shuttle bus at either 6.30pm or 7.30pm for an evening in town and return on the 10.30pm. The bus was reliable and punctual. A taxi to the hotel is 6 euro. The bar is open when you get back. They have happy hour 6-7 when all cocktails are 6 euros. The hotel does require some maintenance around the pool which we expect will be rectified for the new season. More umbrellas are needed for shade, glass by the pool needs cleaning and some sun bed cushions are looking quite stained. Water temperature could also be temperamental when showering. Salvator made our experience of Parga very good. Trips out can be arranged with the hotel. Staff provide a personal touch and guests have a lovely quiet environment to relax and enjoy the great view to the sea.

The hotel is amazing. It has everything you can ask for. Everything in the rooms is carefully chosen and placed. But what impressed us the most was the staff. Kind, friendly, willing to help you at any moment.

We spent 5 days at this beautiful villa, staying at their two-bedrooms suite with a spacious living room and a kitchen. The hotel owners Antonis and his brother are very helpful and friendly. The staff did a fantastic job arranging our excursions and drivers. They always greeted us with big smiles. The suite is very clean and well maintained. We will for sure come back to visit them!

On first glance the hotel looks beautiful. The view is magnificent. But the hotel sits alongside a noisy road and it is a very steep hill down into town. Not really walkable back up after an evening in town. But there is a complementary shuttle bus that runs at fairly inconvenient times! The staff here literally save this place, they are extremely helpful and friendly. However, this is not a four star hotel. It may have been once but not anymore. Everything is tired and much needs replacing. I usually stay in a budget apartment/ hotel so it’s not as if I have really high expectations! The sunshades around the pool were hanging in tatters! The pool towels were ragged and the only meal we had in the restaurant (gyros) was genuinely revolting. No meat at all in the gyros, it was ALL fat. I had to send it back. Wondered why absolutely nobody else ate there apart from the breakfast (which was ok but again not. 4*). The pool was a dubious colour. It looked as if at some point it had been completely green and then either treated or re-filled with clean water but the sides and rim were still green in places. Again, something I’ve never seen in any of the places I’ve stayed before. The grass could’ve done with a cut too! I felt as if the place was being run on a very tight budget to be honest. Which doesn’t really give you a four star experience. On the plus side Lychnos beach is beautiful as is Parga town!

Amazing place with fantastic staff and management. The service was excellent, and the staff were so helpful. We highly recommend this wonderful place. The breakfast was great with the view of Parga, and the rooms were spotless. Thank you, guys, for your great hospitality.
