Location is perfect, close to a major train station with connection to the metro, busses, etc. super easy to get around and it’s too far from anything.

I was very satisfied with the hotel because they were able to look after my suitcase before check-in and after check-out, the breakfast buffet was delicious, the staff were friendly and the service was very polite. I would like to use the hotel again when I travel to Paris.

The family-type room is large enough, especially the sofa bed, which is very comfortable to sleep on. It is located in the center of the city and has restaurants everywhere. It is just because of the old area and the cleanliness of the streets needs to be improved.

Good central location for train station and walking to various landmarks.
Really lovely room and friendly helpful staff.
Very clean and modern with good secure access.
The only downside is that the street outside was very noisy all night long, but I imagine this is just what Paris is like.

Le Ballu is a great small hotel option in the Saint Lazare/Pigalle area of 9th arrondissement. The hotel itself is very nice inside, love the deep colors, staff was very attentive and helpful. We had one dinner in the hotel restaurant, which was top quality and a nice ambiance in the back courtyard, plus excellent wine by the glass at reasonable prices. Our room was a bit bigger than Paris-standard, nicely laid out, very cool finishes. And the bed was sooooo comfortable! The area around the hotel is a real Paris neighborhood, which was great. Extremely quiet street, but just around the corner everything you could want in terms of coffee, different food options, etc. Walking distance to Gare Saint Lazare if you need that, and Metro close by. Far enough from the nightlife of Pigalle, which we don't need, but you could get there easily if you wanted that.

Nice convenient location as walking distance to Gare du Nord, Gare de l'Est, and the Metro. Lots of restaurants, grocery stores all within 1-2 blocks. Only issue is they need to have some homeless people leave that area and it may be concerning
