Jinan Hotels with Parking

Before check-in, I received a warm welcome call asking about my arrival time and room preferences. They were very accommodating with my requests for a high floor and a quiet, non-smoking room. The check-in process was quick upon arrival, and they even offered delicious tea. Breakfast was a buffet, so everyone could choose what they liked – very satisfied!

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The room they assigned me was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast selection was extensive. The hotel is also conveniently located very close to the subway station, making it easy to get around. Plus, the Olympic Sports Center is only about a 10-15 minute walk away.

Jinan in early autumn is beautiful, and this hotel truly enhances the experience. It's in a great location, not far from Baotu Spring, Black Tiger Spring, and Daming Lake—all within walking distance for a leisurely stroll. The surrounding Baihuazhou historical district is also lovely for a walk, especially when lit up at night. The hotel breakfast is plentiful; I particularly enjoyed the warm Jinan Chatang, where you can add various dried fruits yourself. Upon checking out, they even gave us delicate pastries, telling us we could eat them on our journey, which was incredibly thoughtful. I've already recommended it to friends who are planning to visit.

This is no doubt that No 8 Courtyard Homestay is beautiful place to stay. As international visitors to China it was exactly as we hoped for when we booked. Authentic traditional Chinese accommodation with modern hotel facilities in a fabulous location. It’s very quiet despite the proximity to the busier areas nearby. However, we were very disappointed to find the Homestay misrepresents information about smoking that was important to our accomodation choices and selection on Trip.com. As the photo from the website below shows, No Smoking in Public Areas, there is a Smoking Area. The smell of cigarette smoke was very evident on our arrival in both the courtyard, and the internal reception area. We questioned the hotel receptionist who explained smoking is permitted in certain areas, including the Courtyard that guests enter and exit every time to go in or out of the Homestay. The Courtyard is an outdoor public space and the Homestay smoking area (as per the photo of the ashtray in the Courtyard below). It’s unavoidable. While the reception area is internal, the receptionist explained guests are asked not to smoke if they are smoking. Furthermore, the Homestay provides hotel style ashtrays as the entrances to the elevator and we pointed out there was a cigarette butt in the ashtray, evidence of smoking despite the information on Trip.com. There were no visible ‘no smoking signs’. This meant that we would not enjoy the beautiful public spaces of eitber the Courtyard or the Reception area without cigarette smoke or other guests smoking. The receptionist suggested to us we find another hotel, at nearly 10pm we found this was unsatisfactory. She offered for us to stay and pay one night (of our 3 night booking) but this was a problem for our itinerary. The following day we were offered to change to a room with its own courtyard which we did. However, we would never have booked this accommodation if the correct information about smoking by the Homestay was on Trip.com. As hotel guests have to trust 100 hundred percent that the information on the website is accurate and we reiterated this when the manager came to meet us. The filters for non smoking on Trip.com are very good. But, the Homestay allows smoking in the outside public areas, and internal public areas are only managed if the staff ask the guests not to smoke. The reception told us that does not stop the guests from smoking and they can’t control that. The manager said the Homestay would review its smoking policy. Regardless of this, It is necessary for the Homestay not to misrepresent information but to provide accurate information on their booking platforms.

It is really comfortable hotel for business trip. We like it. Room also is clean, reception girls help to us to book TAXI that our respect for all personal in hotel. Thank you guys

The hotel is clean and cozy. The location is very convenient as well as it is very near Jinanxi railway station. There are also restaurants around the place. Overall, we had a great time and we wiĺl stay here again next time.

This is what the meaning of you get what you pay for. As little as the price can be, cannot have such high expectations on reason why you want the greatest of the great. After reading reviews, many said location was convenient, assuming it would be on the main road but not, i didn't meant as in I felt unsafe, just wasn't what I was expecting (not a big deal). It's inside a building with other hotels. Waiting for the elevator was a nightmare, there was only 1 that goes up and then down, felt like 5min passed, but that's just an exaggeration. If you're in a hurry, make sure to set some time for the elevator run. I came a bit early, and they accepted my early check in, which was lovely. The employees are very friendly, even giving tours to each new customers checking in. It's a small hostel, place was cleaned often, security was good. It's a bit funny to see the gym room right in the open of the entrance after check in. They had a shoe cabinet, so indoor was slipper only, I like that idea so the room doesn't smell like feet. Bed was nice, love the shelving unit that can fit lots of stuff too. The lockers are nice, each installed with a rack, convenient to store lots of hangers, space is really big too, enough to fit a backpack in. The issue I didn't like were the bathroom. I was very amazed yet confused on where do I store my clothes in the shower room, the only privacy being in tact was a curtain, it remains me of those Japanese onsen. Had to makeshift a space for my clothes and towel to be in the shower cubicle. Toilets reminds me of public toilets yet much cleaner and smells better. The sink to brush your teeth is very limited. Being 4/5 for everything, meant that it wasn't an issue. Everything was clean, service was great, you have everything you need, doesn't have to be top-tier. It was an experience for me and very budget friendly hotel.

This hotel offers an excellent overall experience! The staff are really enthusiastic and always helped promptly with any issues. The room was spotlessly clean, making for a very comfortable stay. I'll definitely be back!

Environment: It takes less than 5 minutes to get to the Laotun subway station, which is very convenient. Hygiene: The room is spacious, clean and tidy, and you can see that it is cleaned frequently. I soaked in the bathtub after a tiring day, which was very comfortable 😌, and I felt that every pore was taken care of. Service: I checked in at almost 11 o'clock in the evening. The waiter was very friendly and not impatient at all. When I entered the room, I saw the prepared snacks. People who like to eat midnight snacks said it was very heartwarming 🥰 Facilities: The do not disturb function in the room is really great. I can sleep until the sun rises the next day. It's really great. Once the curtains are drawn, no one loves them. The airtightness is great. When I left, the souvenirs I was given included masks. Tears welled up in my eyes🥹. I didn't expect there would be so many catkins in Jinan when I came here, so I didn't prepare them. I didn't expect the hotel to be so considerate and prepare them. When I arrived near Baotu Spring, there were as many catkins as the wind. Thanks to the hotel for providing them😷🥳 I will come to this hotel again next time I come to Jinan. The bed is very comfortable and everything is great. I don't want to leave😋

My overall stay was very satisfying. The room was clean and tidy, and the facilities were complete and well-maintained. The bedding was comfortable, and I slept soundly. The front desk service was enthusiastic and efficient; both check-in and check-out were quick. The location is also convenient for getting around, right above Wanda Plaza. It offers great value for money, and I'll definitely choose Meilun Hotel again next time I visit!
