My first desert camping experience, and I have to thank DUNE Sand Dunes Resort so much! Upon arrival, I was caught by a breathtaking sunset. It happened to be Chinese Valentine's Day, and the romance was practically overflowing from the screen.
Entering the room, I was even more astonished. The amenities were as luxurious as a star-rated hotel, completely reshaping my concept of ”camping.” That evening, I sat down with friends for a candlelight dinner. This was the first time I'd had such a satisfying meal in all my time in Xinjiang: homemade sirloin steak, crispy baked buns...all for only 80 yuan per person, and we devoured it until we had to lean on the wall.
Unable to sleep late into the night, my friends and I adjusted our camera angles, tested our equipment, and took endless photos of the starry sky. We had a blast.
The next morning, we woke up early to watch the sunrise, swinging on the swings until daybreak. The cool morning sand felt so comfortable. A little after 9:00, the host had already prepared a healthy and delicious breakfast, and we had another satisfying meal.
When it was time to leave, the host had already booked a car for us, and the host even attentively helped us load our luggage. As the final stop on my Xinjiang trip, this experience was absolutely perfect. Goodbye, Turpan; goodbye, Xinjiang. I will definitely, definitely come back.

This stay experience is perfect! The moment you open the door, a fresh breath hits you in the face. The marble floor is as smooth as a mirror, the bedding is smooth as new, and even the decorative ornaments in the corners are spotless. Every detail shows the hotel's professionalism and care. The parking lot is well planned and the signs are clear, so you can easily find a space even if it is your first visit. Free parking tickets are also provided when you leave. The biggest surprise was the breakfast session, with a wide variety of Chinese and Western dishes, the freshly cooked noodle soup was fresh and rich, the freshly baked bread was soft and sweet, and the freshly ground coffee was fragrant. You could feel the chef's superb cooking skills in every bite. From the environment to the service, it's impeccable. Next time I come here on a business trip, this hotel will definitely be my best choice!

The ambiance is wonderful. From the moment I enter the courtyard, it feels like I'm back in my grandparents' childhood home. The hotel's decor is very local.
The service was excellent, and most requests were quickly addressed.
I was worried the pictures might differ from the actual experience, but there wasn't at all! It was a truly wonderful stay.

The hotel is in a generally good location Turpan, a 5 minute walk from bezeklik street, which made it a convenient base for exploring. The staff were very kind and welcoming, and we really appreciated how accommodating they were, they even let us change rooms when something wasn’t quite right, which we thought was great service.
Overall, the service was excellent and staff genuinely tried to help whenever possible. Breakfast was good and offered a nice start to the day.
One thing worth noting is that although the hotel advertises a gym and a laundry room, the gym was not available during our stay as the hotel is still new and parts of it were under construction. There was also no on-site laundry room, but the hotel did offer to take our laundry and have it done at another hotel, which was actually a very helpful and well-handled solution.
Despite these points, the hotel offers very good value for money, and the positive service really made a difference to our stay.

Guest UserThis weekend, I brought my family to Turpan and stayed at the Hampton by Hilton Turpan. It was truly excellent, a solid five-star review! Especially the front desk staff, Xiao Yi and Xiao Pan, whose attitude was so friendly and service so warm and thorough. They really made us feel valued – excellent, excellent! 👍 The room was spotless, no strange odors, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable, so I slept soundly. All the facilities were in good working order, hot water came quickly, and the water pressure was strong. Very satisfied!

greenkakaTraveling through Gansu and Xinjiang this time, I've noticed that hotels serving breakfast until 11 AM truly show their dedication.
The hotel breakfast was excellent, and they have an underground parking garage, which is great for escaping the wind and sand while staying cool.
There are many restaurants and BBQ places downstairs. Across the street is an artificial lake, perfect for a morning run. If you head south from there, you'll reach grape trellises where locals sell fresh fruits and vegetables. I bought some 'Xiaobai' apricots, which were incredibly sweet and only eight yuan per kilogram.

Guest UserThe room was spotless and was cleaned daily during my three-day stay. The owner has an amazing personality and patiently answered all my questions about local travel tips, which I really appreciated 🙏. The hostel has a fantastic vibe; everyone was making plans to explore together, watching movies, singing, playing games, and those who were good at cooking even prepared meals – just remember to clean up afterwards! I had a truly wonderful and comfortable stay, it was definitely a highlight of my Xinjiang trip.

The hotel is located in the Cultural and Arts center, which is a free entrance if you're a hotel guest. They have traditional Uyghur music and dance performances throughout the day. The room is nice enough, the WiFi is better than most places we've stayed in. Breakfast was basic, packed and delivered to our room because it's off peak season and the number of guests were low. Overall, it was good for a 1-2 night stay.

Leo27Very friendly and helpful staffs withou English speaking. I got complimentary very early check-in. The breakfast was perfect at the nearby anteen restaurant with 15 yuans capped. My room and bed are super comfortable, iron provided. The hotel was at the end of K2 bus line from Tulufanbei railway station. The location was great in the center, can connect to several attractions by buses or taxi. Walkable distance to Turpan Museum to see the mummies.

The hotel is in a good location, easy to find on the main road, with a parking lot, convenient parking. The room is spacious and has new facilities. The room is clean and sanitary. The bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas, and the sink meets hotel standards. The bedding is also very good, and the sleep is very comfortable. The hotel has a washing machine for washing clothes, and the cost performance is very high. I stayed there for a few days while playing in Turpan. The Xinjiang girl at the hotel front desk was warm and polite, and the check-in experience was very good!
