RedDoorz @ Caimito Drive Dampas

9.0/10
Great

I stayed at RedDoorz @ Caimito Drive Dampas for a quick overnight trip, and overall, it was a decent budget stay. The room was clean enough and surprisingly spacious for the price, with working air conditioning and stable WiFi, which made it comfortable for a short stay. The place itself is quiet and tucked away, so if you’re looking for somewhere peaceful to rest after a long day, this fits well. Staff were generally accommodating, and check-in was smooth. It didn’t feel overly luxurious, but it had the basics covered—bed, shower, and a calm environment. That said, there are a few small things to manage expectations. Cleanliness is okay but not spotless, and don’t expect much guidance or assistance when it comes to nearby spots or transportation unless you ask. Location-wise, it’s convenient enough—you’re just a short ride away from malls and key areas in Tagbilaran, which is a plus if you plan to move around. Overall: Good value for money, especially for a 1-night stay. Not fancy, but practical, quiet, and comfortable enough if you just need a place to sleep and recharge.

We had a wodnerful stay in Hote Gabriella. The hotel is located in the outskirts of downtown Tagbilaran City, tucked in a quiet neighborhood. It is a perfect place to relax. Its amenities are also complete, the rooms are clean and and spacious. I also did not expect that the hotel is already turning 7 years old, it looks like it just opened 1-2 years ago. It really is well=kept and maintained. The hotel staff are also warm and hospitable. It is a simple yet classy relaxing getaway. Great place to stay overall!

Have been very flexible with me on weird transport situations. Invited me in their family for new year. Very, very close to the port. A bit aging, could benefit from some investments. Overall, a great place to stay when arriving and leaving Bohol. But maybe wait to see in person before booking a long stay in the place, many great hostels in very nice settings all around the island.

Cesars is great value for money, in my opinion. We had a Deluxe Queen Room. The room itself was large (for the money). It was clean (*), subdued traffic noise and the bed itself very comfortable. The bedding was clean. Minor points, the A/C was a window type and quite a few years old, unfortunately located pointed at the bed (cold breeze) and noisy. But it kept the room cool despite large windows. The bathroom was again large, but the chrome work (taps and drains) need a good clean and descaling. They were not dirty, just looked it. We only ate breakfast (included) which was modest, but so is the price. It tasted fine too. Finally the staff were professional and courteous. The receptionists were great, friendly and couldn’t do enough for us.  Finally, would we go back; definitely. Enough said.

This hotel is good, the rooms are bigger and the facilities are more complete. The environment of the hotel is very good. On the first floor is a large restaurant similar to a coffee shop. But the breakfast is average, so it's a meal. There are two types to choose from, American or local, American is bread slices, and the local staple food is rice. The hotel is quiet, the only downside is that it is a bit far from the pier. But the hotel service is very good, knowing that we are going to the pier in the morning, we sent a car to take us there. The price does not feel expensive.

Best choice for this price. Room was small but cozy, the best budget hotel we had during this trip in Phillipines (we had three ones before). Rooftop terrace is perfect, we take once our meal to eat it in the evening and we enjoy it. The location was comfortable for our needs as well.

Woken up at 06:45am by owner playing music. Who then had a loud telephone conversation under my window. They offer a budget room - no kettle, no coffee, no bottled water, no toiletries, but charge a higher price. Breakfast is advertised as included, but it is only partly. You are allowed 200 pesos free (1 coffee is 100, 1 French toast is 100), after that, you have to pay for anything additional. On arrival, I informed staff that my toilet was broken as the flush did not work. They told me they'd look into it. When I returned, I was informed that I was right, it was broken, and I was given a bucket to flush.

The location is the main reason I booked this hotel (just 5mins walk from the port). But their awesome service made my stay even more pleasant - all smiles from all the staff!👍🏻👏🏻 The room is clean, with just enough space for you to move around and the thing I like most is their full-length mirror. They also have a hot/cold shower with good water supply, however they just don’t have bidet in the rest room. But then overall, it’s a fabulous stay. I would definitely stay here again😊

Amenities, do not expect much, they only provide water dispenser downstairs with reusable mugs; bedsheets are thin & a bit old but tolerable, looks clean and smells good, & blankets are ok; with 1 pillow only each bed; inside bathroom has 2 pcs small soap (though I saw 1 tiny cockroach inside, hu hu hu!). We enjoyed their TV with netflix. Staffs are kind & very approachable, & helpful as well. With limited parking (2-3 cars).
