This is a very old motel that has seen much better days. Building needs a complete rebuild. Furniture is old and needs replacement. Walls have paint issues, and the bathroom is a toilet and a tub that is very old, and not kept up. Found hair strands on the bed sheet and evidence of roach activity in the room. Continental breakfast is bare minimum at best, dry cereal, gas station style packaged pastry, coffee, and O.J. is it. Go somewhere else!

The hotel was horrible and needs to be shut down . The rooms are worth no more than $20 if that!! Dirty rags and towels, the floor is falling in, carpet smells, table was broke,etc. it’s horrible!!

I often stay here anytime I am vending at Perry Fairgrounds. It is a no-frill hotel. Older hotel with older furnishings but for the price and closeness to Fairgrounds (1 mile roughly) you cannot beat it for business. It is not a family vacation hotel. Did not see any signs of bed bugs or roaches either. Would stay but for business purposes only.

It’s a comfortable enough place to sleep. There were no bugs and no weird odors.
But I have a few complaints - one of the outlets by the bed did not work and the other was so old that my plug would not stay inserted. I can charge my phone across the room, but I did need to use my CPAP machine so I had to get creative. The floor in the bathroom moved under my feet and the wallpaper has been painted so much it is coming off the walls on its own. There was toilet paper, but no Kleenex. I could not hear neighboring guests unless they were outdoors. The air conditioner cooled just okay and clicked on and off loudly throughout the night.

I understand they are remodeling so I will show some grace in that. But our room smelled very musty when we checked in on Friday night and when we returned Saturday afternoon.
The toilet paper should be individually wrapped for cleanliness vs bought in bulk and left on the toilet or just handed to buy the manger. The remote for the TV had no legible buttons, as in all the writing was gone.

Never stayed because none of my messages were answered and the area was interesting to say the least. The fact that no messages were answered says enough. Will not be trying to stay here again.
