It's more than just a place to stay; it feels like a warm ”home away from home.” The homestay boasts a cozy and comfortable environment, brimming with the local charm of ethnic minorities. Activities like mushroom picking, nighttime excursions, and lure fishing showcase the owner's thoughtful touches. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and warmly decorated. Surrounded by pristine forests, waking up to the homestay's chickens in the morning was simply wonderful. The most unforgettable aspect was the owner's hospitality. He was like a friend, enthusiastically introducing local customs and activities, and sharing fragrant Pu'er tea. His sincerity was incredibly heartwarming. The common areas are stylishly designed, perfect for relaxing, enjoying tea, and chatting. At night, stargazing on the rooftop while listening to the chirping of insects completely melted away all my fatigue. While located a 1.5-hour drive from Jinghong city center, Xinwo Homestay is a bit far from the city center. If you also yearn for the tranquility and aroma of tea in Menghai and crave a warm and welcoming travel experience, Xinwo Homestay is definitely the perfect choice! Highly recommended for every traveler seeking nature and warmth; it deserves five stars! I will definitely come again!

Later, the waiter came out to pick us up, otherwise I couldn't find it at all. When I arrived upstairs, I was told that the room was not cleaned up. We said that we could wait. As soon as we entered the room that had not been cleaned, we smelled a smell. The waiter said that the previous guests brought cats and dogs so it was very stinky, but the smell was really unbearable. Later, the waiter went to get the disinfectant to mop the floor, and then the smell was mixed with the disinfectant, and the taste was even more indescribable. We asked for a room change, because the other room was normal, and the hygiene was not done. The administrator said that all rooms were booked and could not be exchanged. Request a normal accommodation room, this request is too much? We are paying for a normal reservation, not free accommodation. Later, after the contact number of the homestay on Ctrip, I agreed to give the exchange. That is to say, the room is there, the feeling is particularly bad, and the people will emphasize that there are many people during the Spring Festival. This is not a reason for giving guests a smelly room!

GGuest UserIt is still quite a long way from Menghai to Zhanglang Ancient Village. The proprietress specially drove to pick us up and also saw us off when leaving, which was very considerate. After checking in, we received one-stop service for food, drink, and entertainment, which felt very good. Eat: Breakfast is wood-fired hanging pot bean porridge, which is very delicious. I drank three large bowls around the stove and was satisfied. Lunch is mushrooms picked in the mountains. The bright red mushrooms are like elves in the mountains, so beautiful and spiritual. Simple mountain spring water stews into a mushroom soup with a strong aroma of fungus. Dinner is wild vegetables and pumpkin sprouts picked randomly by the roadside, which are also very delicious when stir-fried. By pounding bitter eggplant, pounding river bamboo shoots, and pounding tomatoes, you can taste the unique flavor of the mountains. I also ate their own wild honey, which was sweet to my heart. Drink: The landlady brought out various kinds of ancient tree tea and Pu'er tea for us to taste.
