Nestled amidst the sea of ​​clouds and tea mountains of Nanben Old Village in Menghai, Xishuangbanna, the white-walled, glass-walled building blends seamlessly with the ancient tea gardens and the Lahu ethnic village, offering views of tea plantations and clouds – a truly poetic retreat. Approximately an hour's drive from Jinghong city, the road conditions are excellent. Advance booking of four rooms includes one free round-trip shuttle service, and there is also dedicated parking available for those driving. Despite its secluded location in the mountains, it is easily accessible. The rooms blend Lahu elements with modern minimalist aesthetics. Wooden furniture paired with cotton and linen fabrics exudes a natural and rustic warmth. Activities like mushroom picking, nighttime excursions, and lure fishing showcase the owner's thoughtful touches. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and warmly decorated. Surrounded by pristine forests, waking up to the homestay's chickens in the morning was simply wonderful. The most unforgettable aspect was the owner's hospitality. He was like a friend, enthusiastically introducing local customs and activities, and sharing fragrant Pu'er tea. His sincerity was incredibly heartwarming. The common areas are stylishly designed, perfect for relaxing, enjoying tea, and chatting. At night, stargazing on the rooftop while listening to the chirping of insects completely melted away all my fatigue. While located a 1.5-hour drive from Jinghong city center, Xinwo Homestay is a bit far from the city center. If you also yearn for the tranquility and aroma of tea in Menghai and crave a warm and welcoming travel experience, Xinwo Homestay is definitely the perfect choice! Highly recommended for every traveler seeking nature and warmth; it deserves five stars! I will definitely come again!
