A short introductory part of my story will be devoted not to the hotel, but to the organizational aspects of the tour operator, and since we were going to this particular hotel, I will therefore talk about it here. Let me tell you, you had to be “specially gifted” to come up with such a transfer format. So, in order. The transfer guide on the bus said that the bus would now reach a certain place and there we would be transferred to another transport in the form of minibuses and taken to the necessary hotels, listed the names of the hotels and the corresponding registration numbers of the minibuses (he asked us to remember and not confuse them - ha ha 3 times). The LARGE bus drove safely towards the city of Phuket, and then made its way through traffic jams in city traffic for quite a long time. To be honest, the people, after a 7.5-hour flight and already tired, steadfastly endured the hardships and hardships of an almost 2.5-hour trip (the children cried “with all their strength”). We arrived at some location right on the side of the road and began to unload tourists: again everyone unpacked their luggage from the bus and trudged towards the minibuses standing nearby along the road. As you might guess, the numbers of the minibuses (which were previously announced by the transfer guide) did not coincide with reality (after all, they were asked to remember them and not be confused 😊), as a result of communicating with several drivers who don’t even speak English at all, we found their transports and again started loading. The next stage is driving around the city again through the same traffic jams, now on a small transport, and finally we are at the hotel. For children, let’s say this is another “exciting journey.” Looking into the perspective of the way back to the airport, I will say that the way back has a similar pattern only in reverse order. I think if you take a taxi (using the InDrive or Bolt app), the road from the airport to the hotel will cost ~350-400 baht and will take 3 times less time. Also this time, Anex was “pleased” by the fact that they stopped issuing free SIM cards for tourists (which all tour operators have always done), of course this is not critical for us, but the “sediment” remained.
