Room 121 for one night — this is an accessible room on the first floor. Early evening arrival, found the hotel located at the end of a dimly lit winding road behind some other businesses (which backs up to a wooded area beyond). Upon approach, I was a little put off, wondering what kind of place I'd reserved. The hotel name was printed on a banner over the previous hotel signage — so my first impression of this hotel was not terribly positive. (I had chosen it because of price and rating from reviews). But Angie at the front desk was friendly, assuring me that this was a safe area. (It does have a very well lit parking lot) She was also very helpful, taking time to get me a discount I didn’t realize was available. The interior looked pretty good. The lobby is a mix of updated and dated finishes but seemed clean and tidy. Hallways are wide and well lit with plush carpet that looked clean. The room, which felt spacious because of the high ceilings, was a suite so you enter into a living area with a small couch, desk and large screen TV; beyond is a long countertop with single serve coffee, ice bucket, microwave, and mini fridge; across from that is the spacious bathroom with a zero entry shower (excellent water pressure!) that has a fold-down seat; bed is soft but supportive and very comfortable with soft pillows; and there’s another TV here. There's lighting on either side of the bed; closet has full length mirrors on the doors, and inside, hanging space, iron and board and a couple of luggage racks. Clock and phone in the room. Bathroom has soap and shampoo / conditioner. Ice machine and vending at the end of the hall, small business center near the lobby. The hotel has an elevator. Breakfast included with room. Two maintenance issues I found the morning after: no water in the toilet tank to flush, and hairdryer did not work which I reported to the front desk. However, overall, a good experience. Quiet room. Convenient to the highway too. I would stay here again. Very good value.
