We only had the opportunity to visit 1 night but love to come back for a longer stay. What a Great Experience with this two beautifull people. The location , hospitalaty , room, personal kind Approach , Breakfast etc. etc. etc. are only a few notes. We can recommend the local whisky Experience we got from Steve and the advise from Stephanie about restaurant and options in the area. Our rate would be , idd possible, higher than a 10🤩. Thanks again for your both kindnes.

This is a lovely place the room was clean the beds comfortable and the breakfast delicious. Our hosts were attentive and provided many extras tea, and biscuits in the room and lovely organic soap and lotion. The view out our window was amazing. The garden was beautiful. we couldn't have asked for more.

Fabulous stay. Great hosts, extremely comfortable room. Breakfast service was great, Steve and Stephanie even got up at 4am to do breakfast for the guests taking part in the Etape (bike race)! They have really thought of everything you might need. No hesitation in recommending.

Stayed at Tigh Na Cloich for the second time staying in room4 . The view from the bay window is fantastic the bed very comfortable with nice pillows and it’s so quiet although your only 2 minute walk from the high street taking the short cut through the garden coming out at the Old Smiddy Inn. The hosts Stephanie & Steve are so nice and helpful. The breakfast was also a highlight plenty of choice and the cooked breakfast delicious. Will definitely be back. Thanks again to Stephanie & Steve

My wife and I came to stay at Tigh Na Cloich for a night in October 2023 but our trip was besieged with travel and weather issues which affected our visit, and obviously neither of these could be attributed to Tigh Na Cloich, which was fantastic. So we committed to returning and did so for two nights in May 2024 and we were so glad we did. It's the perfect homely quiet environment which feels completely private yet is still a 2-minute walk from the main bars, restaurants & shops in Pitlochry. We stayed in room 5 both times and it was spotless with a stunning view across the countryside. There were also plenty of complimentary extras such as a large fan which was a god send during the mild weather. The bed and bathroom were also both perfect, which we can't fault whatsoever. The breakfast on both stays was also perfectly cooked, with plenty of choice and options. I had the scrambled eggs & salmon and then the full cooked breakfast and I'd highly recommend both, but I'd better the omelette and pancakes would also have been excellent choices too. You are asked to complete your breakfast choices the night before so you know what you're waking up to and I think it works perfectly for this type of stay. Once we had checked out, we were also able to leave our bags aside for a couple of hours so we could take in the amazing scenery for a final time before going home. Last but not least, both hosts Steve and Stephanie are perfect in their roles. Everything you would want from your hosts and nothing was too much to ask from either. The succinct summary would be you leave Tigh Na Cloich feeling like you've known them both forever. Also a special shout out for the handsome labrador Buster who deserves all the treats and belly rubs you have if you're lucky enough to cross paths with him. Value for money, this is the best place in Pitlochry by miles and miles. Don't go anywhere else, and we definitely won't when we return to the town.

Excellent all round experience. Hosts could not have been more welcoming and accommodating. Breakfast was very good; including early one for ETAP. Well placed for accessing village and other. Will sure to be back at some stage. The future. Thanks

Needed to stay the night in Pitlochry for a driving test. Not only were the hosts of this guest house welcoming, but were also extremely friendly and helpful from the outset. Furthermore, they saw on social media that I had passed my driving test and congratulated me for that, which to me is the bit of extra effort you really hope to see from these sorts of places. It really sets them apart. Add in the fact the room was amazingly comfortable (I could barely stay awake once I laid onto the bed it was so nice), the location was stunning, and the entire ambiance of the house had a welcoming feel, it truly is the place to return to in Pitlochry. Would recommend it to anyone.

What a delightful place! From the warm welcome by Stephanie and Steve, to the comfy bed, to the bath with Highland soap products, to breakfast in the sunny dining room (smoked salmon omelette was outstanding), to an evening cocktail in the guest lounge overlooking the highlands, it was just perfect! They even have a garden path to walk into the cute town of Pitlochry! Thanks to this lovely couple for creating some traveling magic for us!
