Best Pitlochry Hotels

"L’accueil n’était pas du tout chaleureux. Noys avons reçu 2 chambres qui ne correspondaient pas du tout aux photos sur le site. L’une avait les 2 fenêtres qui donnaient durectement sur 1 toit. L’autre chambre avait les 2 fenêtres près du plafond. Donc aucune vue pour les 2 chambres. La 2ème faisait carrément ”prison”. La chambre était propre mais tout ce qui était communs (réception, corridors, loundge) laissaient beaucoup à désirer et paraissaient vieux et malpropres. Cet hôtel tient de l’usine à touristes. Je ne recommanderais pas cet hôtel à quelqu'un qui recherche quelque chose de cosy et chaleureux pour séjourner. Mais il est fonctionnel."

"This hotel is great, it's a big castle, you will be given a map when you check in, it's basically a place where foreign grandpas and grandmas come to vacation, it's not well known, but it's great. The room is very clean, the view is beautiful, there is a golf course, a driving range, it's free, you can borrow a club from the front desk, you can play snooker in the basement, there is also a swimming pool. The breakfast is also quite rich (the richness of the UK is still incomparable to that in China)."

"Great small hotel in the centre of Pitlochry, with free parking. The hotel made great efforts to comply with new Covid 19 regulations and made us feel safe and looked after. "

"The location of the hotel is not the most accessible especially if you do not drive, we were lucky to get a taxi to the train station. The hotel is located in a heritage building so there are no lifts, it is recommended to travel light. What we enjoyed most is our time at the lounge as it is relaxing in front of the fireplace. The balcony rooms also come with a great view of the charming town."

"Friendly welcome. Room was clean but so hot and couldn't get the heater turned off. Had to sleep with window wide open. Decent WiFi. Breakfast was order at the table and our waiter got all our orders wrong which made breakfast slow. Would stay again."

"This was our first visit and it definitely won’t be our last. Everything about our one night stay was perfect. The castle room was so comfortable, the spa was a delight and the Sandeman restaurant was a treat. The staff were beyond helpful and the surroundings were breathtaking. A very special stay in a special hotel."

"The hotel promotes itself as Dog friendly but it only accommodated dogs in the annex bedroom. Dogs are not allowed in any part of the main hotel reception, dining area etc so it’s not really a dog friendly hotel. As owners our movements were restricted as it wasn’t appropriate to leave our dog in an unfamiliar location unsupervised as he became very distressed. Dog friendly hotels usually allow owners to bring dogs into reception areas and dining areas. If I knew this was not possible I would never have booked. On a positive note the young man Rory working in the dining room gave a great standard of service, listened to our concerns and couldn’t be anymore attentive. It is important to highlight this and obvious how hard he was working whilst we where there😀 please note the photo uploaded was taken in another local dog friendly hotel ‘Mckays’ which did actually allow dogs in the bar and communal areas as it should be."
