This was the 3rd hotel on our Riviera Tour. The issue with this hotel is that all the rooms differ in size and condition. Ours was fine but our friends room was quite dark and dingy and a poky balcony which to be fair the hotel did give them an alternative but this room had no shower just a bath with a hand held shower contraption. Ours, on the other hand, was light airy and a big balcony. Lovely rain head shower, all seemed good. Dinner was hit and miss the wait staff weren't welcoming always seemingly in a hurry to hoof us out - our holiday, our money yet treated quite poorly, I requested a glass of wine 3 times but ignored, then they would only give me a glass of rubbish wine not the good stuff, what establishments run like this, I was paying for the wine it wasn't included so couldn't understand the problem. Also, my friend was eating too slowly, so they whipped her plate away mid mouthful. The antipasti was excellent but weren't so impressed with the mains. Breakfast was OK but not our favourite of the three hotels. Our housekeeping left a lot to be desired. We had to ask for loo roll and only had one bath towel. Pool wasn't used because of the swimming hat rule. Vieste was our favourite town and would love to return to a better hotel as the area and beaches are stunning.

Our favourite of the 3 hotels we stayed in as part of our tour with Riviera. We had 3 nights here. Vieste is lovely & we really liked the hotel. Felt the most authentically Italian of the 3. We had 2 dinners here & food was good. Anti pasti buffet was delicious! Breakfast good, plenty of choice. We ate in the old town on the 3rd night & had a delicious meal in a lovely fish restaurant we found down a series of lovely narow lanes. Lovely beach. Pool was nice, but not open all day as had a lifeguard, which was a shame. Neither of the other hotels had lifeguards so were available all day. Not sure why some hotels make you wear swim hats & others don’t. But this one does!

Stayed here as part of Riviera group. Had read previous reviews so hadn't got high hopes. Clearly the hotel has been refurbished. It was spotlessly clean in all public & private areas. Decent size bedroom with a sitting area leading to a large courtyard. So lovely to hear the church bells next door but they did cease during the night. It was ideally placed to walk to the beach or the beautiful old town which is a joy of narrow streets. Well worth a walk to the furthest point where very few people ventured. Ate twice in the hotel, food was fresh, plentiful & well presented. The main man in the restaurant could do with smiling but maybe that's the Italian way? Breakfast was a wide selection of hot & cold food. Custard croissant were to die for.

Our three night stay was part of a coach tour organised by Riviera Travel, UK, 22 travellers. From the reception to the departing the whole hotel team were welcoming, easy to get on with and very helpful. The breakfast buffet was extensive and catered for all tastes and diet. Evening meals excellent variety of anti pasta, with main courses efficiently served. Good puddings. Bed room large, comfortable and spotless. Drinks served at the bar and table without fuss. Many and varied styles of sitting areas, inside and out. Pool not used, though looked welcoming with afternoon life guard. The sweets on reception very good. Easy walk to the beach and old town.

Visited as part of a Riviera Tour to Puglia, and stayed 3 nights. Enjoyable stay, hotel family run and spotlessly clean, and staff all friendly and helpful. Rooms comfortable although the shower cubicle was very small making turning around difficult. Various noise at night aswell, ranging from air conditioning being operated on/off centrally, to the fridge and clicking of the fuse box. Very good location on the edge of town, an easy walk to the centre or to the beach. Breakfast ok - coffee made to order, limited range of hot and cold items but plenty of pastries and cakes. Evening meal excellent - especially the buffet antipasti which was almost a meal in itself.

Reasonable hotel but a little dated, safe too small and hidden above fridge. Air conditioning a bit of an issue as it is controlled from the front desk so if it gets too hot you have to open a window to turn it off. Staff pleasant and food pretty good. OK if you want short break.

The hotel caters for coach tours and treats guests like school children. The staff are hostile giving the overall impression they don't want you there. The restaurant staff herd you about rudely and try to take your food away before you finish presumably to get you out of the restaurant and off their hands as soon as The rooms are sparse bathrooms too small beds and bedding very basic air conditioning split units and they hide the remote controls so you cant set temperature or direction of the icey blast directly focused on your bed The bathroom shower was a joke - it was a plastic cubicle multi jets but inadequate pressure to make them work. The main shower was a hand fitting in a slidy type clamp which pointed the shower at an odd angle away from your head. Unpredictable useless temperature control This is at best two star hotel and ideal for parties of school children who have no idea what real four star hotels are like and want a cheap deal No complaints about quality of food but definitely mass catering and room cleaning staff do an excellent job everywhere spotless but that's it nothing else to recommend this grim uncomfortable excuse for a hotel Imagine Faulty Towers without the humour and you won't be far wrong
