The hotel is right inside Daming Lake scenic area, and the views outside are picturesque. It was too hot to walk much during the day, so an evening stroll by the lake was very pleasant. Getting to the pier was also quick. The front desk staff were very attentive, proactively offering a golf cart service to help with luggage. However, for elderly guests with mobility issues, after being dropped off by a taxi by the roadside, they still have to climb a high bridge and walk a distance to reach the hotel. Also, since it's in a park, you might be startled by old men clearing their throats during their morning exercises early in the morning. Additionally, there weren't enough power outlets by the bed, which I hope they improve upon.

The executive benefits here are an absolute joke! I bought a hotel package voucher, and specifically called ahead before booking to ask if I could pay extra to upgrade to an executive floor and get a late checkout until 4 PM. I only booked after getting confirmation. I even switched to this InterContinental for the last day of my trip, partly because I had such a great experience at another InterContinental in a provincial capital, so I trusted the brand. However, when I went to the front desk today to confirm my checkout time before heading out, I said I wanted to check out at 3 PM, and they told me no, the latest was 2 PM. They even pulled out a little card to show me the phrase ”subject to availability.” They didn't mention any big events or a sudden surge in tourism these past two days; otherwise, how tight could room availability be on a Monday/Tuesday right after summer vacation? The executive lounge was also incredibly disappointing. With service like this, the hotel still has the audacity to chase after 5-star reviews after checkout. They took every penny they were due, but I never saw a butler, and my requests were directly rejected, with implications that my requests were unreasonable. It's like I'm just a fool who paid extra for a room on a higher floor. P.S. The 2 stars for service are for housekeeping; otherwise, I wouldn't even give one.

This hotel boasts an excellent location, within walking distance of the main attractions, making it stress-free for families traveling with elderly parents and children, as it eliminates the hassle of commuting. The breakfast was a major highlight – a wide variety of dishes with a distinct local flavor, we never got tired of trying something new each day. A special thank you goes to Auntie Xiang, server number 4 in the restaurant, for her warm and attentive service. She even thoughtfully prepared small gifts for our family, showing genuine care in every detail. Our entire family raved about it, and we'll definitely stay here again on our next visit!

The view from the Lakeview Suite is absolutely stunning! The room faces Daming Lake and Chaoran Tower directly. During the day, you can enjoy the beautiful lake scenery, the willows, and the painted boats cruising by. In the evening, you can comfortably wait for Chaoran Tower to light up, getting the best view all to yourself without dealing with crowds – it truly sets a fantastic mood. The room features a New Chinese design, and the floor-to-ceiling windows frame the lake view like a dynamic painting. Step outside, and you're on a lakeside terrace that feels incredibly peaceful and therapeutic. The hotel is right inside the scenic area, so Daming Lake is just outside your door. Taking a walk in the early morning when there are fewer people is incredibly enjoyable. The service is attentive and thoughtful – it's definitely a hidden gem and a must-stay experience when visiting Jinan!

This hotel has a particularly good experience, the location is next to the snow field lake, the scenery is open and eye-catching. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was comfortable and the view was great. The food in the store tastes authentic and the breakfast is rich and delicious. The staff is warm and thoughtful and efficient. Complete leisure facilities, convenient travel and parking, the overall price is very high, the accommodation experience is comfortable, I will choose here next time.
