This hotel has been recently renovated and is so cool, with the retro and midcentury decor. There is not a bad view. The heated pool at 88 degrees was great for the chilly night. Bongos restaurant downstaird on the beach has yummy food. We'll stay again for sure!

The property itself is a little dated, but find. The staff made several negative comments about the management that felt inappropriate to share with a guest and made me uncomfortable.
The WiFi does not work. I was placed in a different room type than I booked, but they refused to refund the difference.

Rooms SMALL for the price.
'gym' is open membership to a gym in a ***** mall 1 mile down the road.
OK hotel - expect more for the price.

I just returned home from vacation at a little slice of heaven, Bellwhether Beach Reoirt. While the resort is older, it has been updated with a modern vibe. My room and property were extremely clean thanks to hard workers like Levenia and Gene. Check-in was smooth and welcoming. Front desk staff like Tati and Leigh were accommodating and friendly. While the pool is not that large, there is a whole ocean and beach with beautiful sand with lounge chairs and cabanas included in resort fee. Plenty of seating everywhere. The resort also boasts Bongos, a great beach bar with delicious handmade drinks and friendly service, thanks to people like Vanessa and Shawna. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, bongos offers a wide variety of appetizers, handhelds, salads and entrees. Sam offers service with a smile and attentiveness. Bongos also offers entertainment in afternoon and evening. Looking for something a little more upscale? Try Spinners at the resort. While I did not eat there, the restaurant gets great reviews. Looking for a relaxing cocktail with a perfect view? Lvl11 is an open air bar on the 11th floor with great cocktails and photogenic view. Thanks to all the staff and management for a relaxing, pleasant experience. I will be back.

the lobby is beautiful, and its obvious there was a recent renovation to all the rooms. But there was barely any hot water for the 1 night we stood there, and the shower fixtures had excessive corrosion and rust. Overall, good but not great.

I booked a classic king room only to be placed in a room that had a balcony facing a 5ft wall and external air conditioning units. The floor was dirty and unkept. You would think that if the hotel had empty rooms that they would move you into a decent room better than the one assigned. The staff was cold and unhelpful only offering an upgrade with an additional fee. I would think that the price I paid over $2400.00 would at least grant me that. But no I was not at all what occurred. Also, I found the alarm clock behind the nightstand on the floor among dirt and dust. Obviously, it was a place time forgot. Room cleaning is not offered on a daily basis either. I actually saw a maid on the floor by her cart on the phone.
The wifi service was terrible. I would lose connection within minutes after logging on. For an establishment that charges their exorbitant fee you would think I would of left as a happy guest. I'll call it a learning lesson as There are other properties that I believe treat their guest with more respect than what I received. Overrated and expensive...That's what it was.

Our stay was “okay” here. I wasn’t too fond of the housekeeping coming every day. The hotel hallways are very dim, and smelly. Our hotel room always had a horrible smell. An engineer had to check out bathroom because there was a leak above our room. The lock to our hotel door stopped working with no explanation. I would not stay here again.

Lets start with the good awesome beach location.Lobby was super nice. Ok the bad.house keeping was horrible didn't come for three days straight sfter asking five times. Now the room we got a oceanfront room with 1 king bed smallest room i ever stayed in in my life, one small dresser for clothes no table except end tables with lamps, which had nine watt bulbs so you couldn't even read. The standing area in the bathroom is 2 feet by 4 feet and the safe wasn't even bolted down.old hotel. Dining was either eating outside ,where it was difficult to get a seat or the extremely expensive spinners where it was difficult to get a seat reservations. And the parking? If your car isn't parked on top by 2 they block all the spots for valet. And you are forced to park underneath which the spots are ridiculously small and tight expect door dings. this place is definitely not even close to my expectations and I'm really not a difficult person. The Hampton inn i stayed at was way better than this place.
