The Grove at Pismo Beach

Needed a one day retreat from some personal matters. Very emotional, checked in around 6 on showered, went out for food and came back around 11is. Ate grabbed the other key went to car to get my night bag and door key would not work. Went to front desk, they left early sign said closed Libby from 3am to 7 am.Asjed person in driveway to call desk no answering service. No emergency maitnence or any type of number provided. Living quarters insight was empty. I attempted prying open window, no luck. Had to sleep in my vehicle with no blanket no phone. In the morning front desk called management and alls they would do was refund the 3rd party, I asked if they could give me a room for the night since I was in my car n slept only 2 hours, would not even do that. Tried to lie and say they were full after front desk already offered to give me a room. It was the weekend and it was double so they did not want to loose money wasting it in taking care of a customer they left out in the cold. Dirty ran down room, coffee still in top of maker wet. No form of security and no concern for female alone licked out in the cold dark parking lot, and yet they value customer safety. .hmmmm

I thought that I paid everything through YOU, They said I didn't pay all fee's. There WI-FI didn't work in my room or I would of contacted you to find me another hotel. I am in there office now it's the only way I could get my mail. Please contact me I need a room for the 28th march to 28th of april. I had to extend here NO wi-fi.

My family and I stayed 3 nights here. The staff here is very friendly and kind. Especially the lady at the office. The rooms are clean. Rooms have a fridge, tv, and microwave. They are located in a safe area. Close to the pismo outlets. Overall we enjoyed our stay at the the grove at pismo beach! Will definetly be coming back!

Monica at front desk was very nice and professional. The room itself was not as nice. There was a weird moldy smell and the bathroom towels are worn and old looking. But I guess this is what $87 will get you for a night stay near pismo beach pier.

We have stayed here many,many times over the last 25 yrs. Loved the property always enjoying frindly desk service,great continental's breakfast, heated pool and hot tub. This stay not acceptable on any level. No hot water, pool area closed, no breakfast items. Front desk couldnt even allow late check out though literally the hotel is empty of guest. They dont inform you of any of this until your checked in. It was shocking.Ice cold water in the winter.?? Hot water not working! So decieving.

Our stay was great as always, Monica the Hotel attendant who got me checked in was very polite and helpful, I can’t wait to plan the next stay there!
