Great location, staff are helpful and provided beach towels and body boards etc no extra cost

Perfect location in Downtown Santa Monica very close to many attractions, shopping & dining options. The famous Santa Monica Pier is an easy walk across from the hotel, along with plenty of beach/ocean access. The entire property is renovated & the rooms are very nice, comfy beds and the chaise sofa next to the window is perfect for watching the sunset or activity in the busy area. My only complaints are that the heated outdoor pool wasn't finished (although a full amenity charge was applied, which it is part of), microwaves weren’t available, live TV doesn't show programs on the guide (just channel abbreviation), cellphone coverage is weak in the room unless you are next to the window.

Location of hotel is very good, There is Not slippers and toothbrush-toothpaste in the room, WiFi also doesn’t work good Receptionist could be more friendlier and warmer to the guests, I paid 590$ for two nights, I think service should be on higher level

Excellent. We had the best time. The pool isn’t great being in the car park on the main road but everything else is great.

The most caring people I have ever encountered. Upon arrival from AUS at 8.30 am my phone battery was flat and my bank travel Mastercard card wasn’t working so I was unable to pay the taxi driver. I was travelling solo and hadn’t slept in 36 hours so I was stressed and barely lucid when I walked in to the hotel. Lucia at front desk took care of things for me. We got my phone working, got the cab driver paid then she called house keeping and organised a room to be cleaned ASAP so I could check in early. I was in my room in bed by 10am thanks to her. After a lovely afternoon out and about, the next morning I woke up vomiting and running a fever. They don’t have room service so the front desk staff brought anti-nausea ***** and water up to my room within 3 minutes of me calling. They offered to phone and check in on me throughout the day as they knew I was travelling alone. The next morning when I checked out at 5.30am to get to LAX I got in my Uber and as it was about to leave the woman on front desk came running out, stopped us from leaving and said to me “you said your Uber’s a Nissan, this isn’t a Nissan, you should get out of the car”. It turned out a previous guest had taken my Uber. Once we realised this, the driver of the Uber I was in would not take me, told me to leave his vehicle and get my bags out of his car. As I had a plane to catch and was worried I would miss it, the same front desk lady rang me a cab which arrived in minutes. If you are a solo traveller STAY AT THIS HOTEL!! The rooms are beautiful, spacious and clean. To top it all off Lucia didn’t charge me for early check in; she said given how stressful getting there had been, it was the least she could do to help. Gifts from God and great beds to boot!

Advantages: 1. The location is good, very close to the beach. 2. The room facilities are okay, but at this price, you can stay in Hilton anyway in China. Disadvantages: 1. ***really speechless, come to LA to change planes, adjust jet lag, sleep during the day*** to do a day of renovation, keep using electric drills on your head without stopping for a moment, and it is not as good as at least in China Is there a nap time for decoration? ***I want to take a break, the child also needs to rest, I am so tired**now I feel dizzy and angry, stay in a hotel to listen to your decoration? ? ? I lived for three days, and there was no rest in one day! ! ! 2. Low water pressure and less water volume. 3. Nothing is provided, and the toothbrush, toothpaste and comb are also not available for 3,000 a night.

The location of the rooms is good, but the sound insulation between the rooms is poor!

Good location, a few hundred meters from the beach. The surrounding environment is safe.

The hotel staff deserve so much praise!! Overheard one employee making a reservation and the call was super professional and handled well and just every interaction we’ve had was impressive from the staff

Hotel does not have a view of the water - my room looked directly at a Subway and McDonald's... Bathroom was dirty, cleaner only half cleaned my room the second day, pool was closed. The room smelled like BO and the smell didn't go away my entire stay. Only saving grace is the location is near the beach, but nowhere near as close as the listing made it seem. Not at all worth the premium price paid here and I will not be staying again.

Everything was great except the ridiculously expensive parking. $65 per night was outrageous! That should be included in the price of the Hotel. Even if they just add it on. Its a more honest way to do business.

Location is great and service was good. Room was small. Very loud from the room. Bathroom door squeaks loud. Hotel is old for sure. Not sound proof at all. Had to go up 2 floors every time I wanted water. Lobby is beautiful
