The service was good. Workers were kind and helpful. Some of the workers could even speak English. The room was clean and cozy. It was a few meters far from the beach. My window view was stunning whole day long. Outdoor swimming pool was nice too. I enjoyed swimming there.
The only thing I was not satisfied was the FOOD. The dishes didn’t taste good, probably bcoz of the seasonings. Also most of the dishes didn’t have a name tag, so the guests could avoid the food they were allergic to. As for the dessert and fruits they taste really good.

Pros : beach front, great views. The staff can speak English and are very friendly as well as attentive. i believe it was daniel (not sure), but he was great and very helpful. The buffet is pretty decent with a lot of options. Rooms are quite spacious. Taxis are quick. Massage spa in the hotel is nice as well.
Cons: I don't have strong cons, but there are definitely some things that can be improved to make the hotel a better stay and upgrade the quality. Such as better toiletries, the toothpaste and shampoo/conditioner were cheap products that didn't do much so I would highly recommend to bring your own. The sofa bench in our room was stained. I loved that we had an iron and board in our room, but the board was about 10 years old and didn't even stand straight.
The pool area was quite confusing and not logically structured. So many sections were always closed off. It required you to go a long way around to the beach and limit your freedom of where to swim.
During breakfast time, the management poorly scheduled/organized their staff, leaving one worker to clean all the tables during its busy time. This led to many people standing around waiting for tables to be cleaned or sitting at a dirty table.
Overall, it's not a bad hotel at all, but if you're not on a budget, you can spend money on a more updated one. Though this one has its perk of being beachfront.

Good location! The beach in front is beautiful. I tried two different rooms and both weren’t so clean. It could be improved. It will be awesome if the staff could add some activities for entertainment because you feel a bit bored in there.

The hotel is old and heavily smoke-filled. The hotel and beach are located at the end of the bay, and the location is good.

This hotel is a vestige of its former glory.
It’s clean and tidy, but could use an upgrade. Facilities are ok, even though swimming pools are not all open. It’s quite disappointing and the hotel’s pictures do not represent the current conditions.
Location is amazing, and while swimming in front of the hotel is technically forbidden, everybody does!
Lots of nice restaurants nearby. Easy access to the beach (closer than most hotels in Yalong Bay).
Budget friendly though so it might be worth it for the location. You’ve been warned!

We had a lovely king suite on the 7th floor(763) our son and his wife and daughter were right beside in room 765 with a great ocean view.
The lady who serviced our room was wonderful and made us very comfortable
The breakfast buffet was so excellent with good service.
