We booked this hotel last minute because our flight was grounded due to a typhoon. The Sanya Bay Palm Family Theme Hotel offers great value for money. The room decor was very cozy and welcoming, and there's a commercial street conveniently located right downstairs. Our butler, Perou, provided incredibly thoughtful and responsive service, doing everything possible to assist us, which made our stay very enjoyable. Overall, our stay was very pleasant.

2. Only one side of our unit received natural light. The secondary bedroom and bathroom on the other side lacked windows, resulting in no natural light or ventilation. We had to rely on artificial lighting and the exhaust fan throughout the day, which is a clear design flaw.
3. The service and complementary amenities were quite disappointing. At check-in, we were asked to add a 'butler' on WeChat, but this person was completely unresponsive during our entire stay. Moreover, some of the on-site activities only opened at 10 AM and closed quite early in the evening, making them hardly worthwhile for guests with a short stay. Even the 'complimentary' drinks weren't straightforward: instead of being delivered, we had to redeem a voucher and collect them ourselves from a specific restaurant. This unnecessary hassle completely negated the point of a freebie; frankly, they shouldn't bother offering it if it's such a chore.
Overall, I found the value for money to be poor, and I would not choose to stay here again.

I booked a two-bedroom suite. The lobby is quite small, but it's still convenient. The room lighting was very dim; I was concerned it wouldn't be safe for elderly guests needing to get up at night, as even with all the lights on, it remained quite dark. Overall, it doesn't compare favorably to Queen Palm or Bodhi. What's more, there's a folk bar on one side downstairs and a craft beer bar on the other, which were incredibly noisy. They were still blasting music at 12:30 AM every night, and I had to call to ask them to quiet down. All in all, it was nothing special. I won't be staying at Palm again!

We had an incredibly satisfying trip! We really appreciate the hotel upgrading our room; it was exceptionally spacious with a fantastic view. The kids had an absolute blast, especially at the water park and adventure park, which were both so much fun.
Considering the price, this hotel truly sets the standard for value in Sanya! Its city center location also makes it incredibly convenient to get around. The hotel offers an amazingly rich array of amenities; it's truly a one-stop destination for dining, accommodation, activities, shopping, and entertainment. The commercial street downstairs is fantastic for a stroll, featuring great stores like H&M, UR, Adidas, Li-Ning, and Beneunder, along with a vibrant food street.
My only regret is that we didn't have enough time to explore everything more thoroughly. For instance, the craft beer bar, which reportedly offers a couples' package, live music, and a fantastic evening atmosphere, we didn't get a chance to visit this time. It leaves me with a slight regret, but I'll definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Sanya.
Oh, and a special shout-out to our butler, Perou! Perou was absolutely phenomenal – incredibly thoughtful and attentive, making our entire trip completely stress-free. Any request we had was immediately addressed with impressive efficiency! Highly recommend! 👍
