Wassim Hotel (Shanghai Chuansha Metro Station) Reviews

This hotel room gets a big thumbs up from me! It was spotless and had a really fresh scent – no stale cigarette smells here! The location was perfect for my Disney trip, and getting to the city was super easy with the metro line 2.

200 meters from Chuansha Metro station. Airport drop-off and pick-up service are provided.

Just renovated last year, so everything was quite new. It is near a big shopping mall you can walk to within 15 minutes.

We extended our stay for one more night because of excellent treatment we received earlier. Thank you to the staff reception counter on the night of 19 September 2024 for helping us to buy and have halal food delivered to us due to heavy storm.

Just a heads up. English is minimal so a translating app would be helpful. Also another tip if you are wanting to book the shuttle bus from the airport to accommodation use WeChat. It’s the easiest way to communicate with them & they would ask you to download it for communication. Besides all that the service was great and accomodating. Our flight arrived super early 7:30am to Shanghai & their schedule bus time starts at 10:00 but because we let them know ahead of time, they were very accommodating and picked us up early after airport processing. We arrived at the hotel around 9am and check in was open at 2pm but they let us check in early. Gave us an upgrade because our original rooms were being cleaned. This was great for us because we were travelling with young children and that let us help settle them in. The location is great. We are a 6min walk from the mall and a train station. There are was a convenient store 4 mins away.

This hotel is near to Shanghai Disneyland and a shppping mall nearby. They provide free scheduled shuttle bus to and fro Disneyland (2 morning slots and 2 night slots after fireworks) and also free shuttle to Pudong airport (2 hourly timings). All can be booked from the reception. However, you may have to travel abt 1hr to other touristic attractions.

A pleasant stay in the Wassim Hotel. Comfortable room with super friendly staff. Strong water pressure in bathroom. Comfortable bed. Free shuttle service to airport.

excellent hotel that is not over priced! clean room, friendly staff, great breakfast, helpful airport shuttle service. big shopping entre across the street, easy to get taxi. 张阿姨from the breakfast buffet is very welcoming and helpful. would definitely stay here again if we visit disney again

Spaceful room and very convenient to go to Disney & airport. The journey dragging big luggage to the hotel is not easy as the road is not smooth

We chose this hotel as they provide shuttle services to Disneyland and Pudong Airport, which take about 30 minutes to the destination. There is a mall nearby which is great as there are many restaurants, a supermarket, etc. It's a great location with a metro station nearby, Line 2 which takes about 50 minutes to the town area. Hotel breakfast choices are limited and not great. The staff are friendly and helpful. The welcome pack is a plate of apple, orange & biscuits.

Are you planning to visit Shanghai? Let me share my recent experience with you. I traveled with my best friend, family, and our family's friends, a total of nine people. Unfortunately, my sister lost her passport during our stay. However, the Wassim Hotel reception staff was quick to assist us in registering my sister with the approved document we received from the police station. Although there was a small mistake in the registration, the receptionists were kind enough to warn us and helped us with the process. They even went out of their way to book a taxi for us at an early morning hour. I must commend their hospitality and customer service. However, I would suggest having someone who speaks Chinese on your travel team to make your stay even more comfortable. Nonetheless, the Wassim Hotel is a great choice for your stay in Shanghai.

Close to MRT station, just only 5 mins by walk. The hotel provided shuttle bus to airport and Disneyland. If you’re going to Nanjing Road it took 50 mins to go there. By the way, the room was nice and convenient. Breakfast is also good. Really impressed.

Near train station, good breakfast, but I think air conditioner is not cool.
