Shangri-La Tiger Leaping Gorge Yulong Mountain View Homestay

It was amazing watching the sun set over the mountains from the hotel terrace, a beautiful view. Our bathroom didn’t have a door, which might feel unusual for some guests, and the corridor could use a bit more cleaning. Aside from that, we had a great stay overall and really enjoyed our time here.

The view is amazing for the room, unfortunately like most local hotels, it only looks good on picture. Some of the structure in the rooms doesn’t make sense, and the towel is off bad quality. Good enough for one night stay but nothing more.

The location and the view was amazing! You can open panoramic windows automatically and enjoy the view. If you walk 200-300 m ahead from the hotel, you can see the Tiger leaping gorge! Only the cafeteria was dirty, trash on the floor, and people were smoking.

This hotel surprised us as it was so well priced - it had incredible views, the comfiest bed, and amazing shower, which is just what you want after hiking. Just steps away from the halfway guesthouse. We had dinner and breakfast here, which was good (mostly Chinese options). The owner was very helpful and helped us book a bus back to Lijang from Tina’s guesthouse. Thank you!

A very new hotel in the Tiger Leaping Gorge halfway village, with very helpful and friendly staff and a menu in English which is very helpful. Great views from everywhere! One important note for Western travelers - the bathrooms are doorless, so may not be suitable if you're not traveling with someone you're quite close with (this hotel is very very new and I wouldn't be surprised if they added some doors after receiving some feedback)
