Very hospitable family with a beautiful property. Located about 10-15min walk from old town. Place especially well suited for children with toys to play. Free clothing for dressing up as locals if you wish. Thank you Rita 🙏

It was a lovely hotel with a cozy covered courtyard for hanging out and breakfast. The hotel offered a complimentary pick-up at the railway station, which made the arrival smooth and easy. It was also great to be able to do laundry (for free). The owners/staff were very friendly and made an effort meet all our needs.

Great service all around, highly recommend. Rita is a great host with a great vibe and helped out everywhere she could and her English proficiency made everything much easier. We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent service and good location, just 10 minutes walk to old town. The host family is very warm-hearted and hospitable. They really seem to care about their customers. We felt very welcomed.
They picked us up from railway station and also drove us back.
Rita speaks very good english which is a big plus.

Wow, we loved this room and the beautiful inner courtyard where we had breakfast. Rita and her family are lovely. She speaks great English which was a godsend as our Chinese is terrible 😂 The views are great and Rita was super helpful, giving us recommendations, washing our laundry and her husband even gave us a lift to the train station. Shangri-la itself is our favourite place in China so far, and yak butter tea (sweet) and yak hotpot, yak dumplings etc that we ate all around the town were delicious. We also happened across several traditional ethnic groups dancing in one of the parks, which was a total highlight. We loved it here so much we extended our stay and would 100% recommend

A very family oriented style of home stay. The people here are very genuine and sincere. They response fast to all my enquiries and helped me arrange a reliable tour agency to 梅里雪山。 Love the hospitality offered by them.

Very nice service, breakfast provided, 1-way Railway transport provided, unlimited drink water provided, oxygen generator and humidifier provided, walking distance close to ancient town, traditional costumes free to wear, and very nice environment.

Everything is good! the room is large, well organized, and full of amenities. The lady owner can speak english. Breakfast is delicious. You can walk from the hotel to the old town about 1 km. Worth to stay here!
