Hampton by Hilton Shenzhen Longgang Yonghu

The location is super convenient, really close to the subway. The room was clean and comfortable. As soon as I got to the 6th floor, I was greeted by the professional smiles of the front desk staff. Check-in was quick and efficient. They even have a robot to deliver items, which is cool! Breakfast was delicious, and the lobby was spacious and cozy.

This is currently the best hotel in its class, excelling in service, decor, breakfast, toiletries… everything meets a consistent standard. I can't remember how many years ago I first stayed at a Hampton, but I was impressed by its great value for money even back then. I've stayed at many Hampton hotels across the country, and their standards have remained consistently high over the years. Keep up the excellent work! On the other hand, I have to criticize Ramada. The amenities vary from city to city, and even the bottled water isn't from a consistent supplier, which hurts their brand image. I had to cancel a reservation five days in advance due to a change in plans, and they wouldn't allow a cancellation, charging me the full amount. This is a predatory business, and I will never stay at a Ramada again.

I booked this hotel because I was going to a concert at Universiade, and the price was much higher than usual due to the event. The hotel is conveniently located right by a subway entrance, making it quite easy to get to Universiade – just three stops away. Including transfers and walking, it took about half an hour to reach the stadium entrance. When I booked, I couldn't quite grasp the difference between the 'Comfort Twin Room,' 'Superior Twin Room,' and 'Deluxe Twin Room.' The photos, floor levels, and room sizes all looked pretty much the same; only the prices varied slightly. I ended up booking the 'Comfort Twin Room,' which turned out to be on the side facing the road. Since it's near the subway entrance, I was woken up early in the morning when the subway started operating (it's an elevated line, not underground), so I couldn't go back to sleep. I'm a light sleeper and specifically requested a quiet room when I made the reservation, but unfortunately, the hotel was almost fully booked for the concert, so upgrading wasn't an option. I hope they can clarify the differences between room types in the future – who can really tell the difference between 'Comfort,' 'Superior,' and 'Deluxe'? Although I didn't get a good night's rest, the staff were friendly, and the breakfast was decent.
