This is a MUST place to stay. The stunning views and natural surroundings on their own makes the water gardens a dream destination. Add in the most friendliest staffing team and you have yourself a 5* experience. When entering the gardens, just past reception you are met with an infinity pool with beautiful views of the man made lakes and in the distance - Lions Rock. The water bungalows themselves are beautiful, positioned far enough away from one another so you have privacy, but surrounded in all the nature and natural surroundings. The thoughtfulness of the rooms - from the binoculars and bird watching books to the coffee and home made biscuits and evening treats made this place feel extra special. When it came to the wait staff, they couldn’t do enough. My fiancé and I are both vegetarian and the evening set menu didn’t have the greatest offerings for us, however the staff went out their way to accommodate us and we had the most amazing dining experience. You must try the Sri Lankan curry for dinner - 12 different dishes full of so much flavour and variety, and for breakfast the egg and coconut cream hoppers - sensational!! The staff couldn’t do enough to help us and any request wasn’t too much to accommodate.
